Kathy Griffin Dishes the Dirt on a Disgusting Jack Black Shower Story [WATCH]

Comedian Kathy Griffin recently shared details about her past relationship with actor Jack Black, recalling their time together in the 1990s.

In a TikTok video posted on Thursday, Griffin, 64, described their brief romance and shared a story about Black’s hygiene habits during that time.

Griffin began the video by showing a photo of herself and Black, now 55, sitting together on a couch.

“This is a picture of me and my then-boyfriend Jack Black, who you probably know mostly from School of Rock,” she said.

She went on to explain that dating Black made her feel “cool” in the eyes of other men. “So he was the first boyfriend I ever had where other bros thought I was cool because I was dating him—and by the way, dating is a very loose term,” she added.

Griffin then recalled an experience she had while staying at Black’s apartment, which was located on Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles at the time.

“One night, I spent the night there, and the next day I’m in the shower,” she recounted. “I get off on the bath mat, and I said, ‘I need a shower towel,’ and he goes, ‘You’re standing on it.’”

She laughed while explaining the situation to her audience. “You guys, that’s straight guys,” she joked. “He had one bath mat slash towel that he used for both, and that was it.”

Despite the discovery, Griffin quipped that she continued seeing Black. “So, naturally I kept sleeping with him,” she said.

In the caption of her TikTok post, Griffin teased more stories to come on her new YouTube series, Kathy Griffin: Talk Your Head Off.

Following the post, fans took to the comment section to react to the anecdote. “I’m actually jealous. I love Jack Black. Did y’all laugh all the time?” one person asked. Griffin responded, “YES.”

Another commenter wrote, “I would literally pass away if that happened to me,” to which Griffin replied with three laughing emojis.

“The towel thing is so real. So is still sleeping with him, lmfao,” another user wrote.

One more added, “‘Naturally I kept sleeping with him’—real asf.”

This is not the first time Griffin has spoken about her short-lived romance with Black.

In her 2009 memoir, Official Book Club Selection, she discussed their relationship and revealed that Black was the one who ended it.

“Another example of me getting flack from the boys is when Jack Black dumped me. That’s right. I f–ked Jack Black,” Griffin wrote, according to Daily Mail.

“Okay, we went out only two or three times, but that’s a relationship in my book. And by the way, this is my book,” she joked. She described her initial attraction to Black, saying, “I thought he was a weirdo, and was therefore instantly attracted to him.”

Griffin also acknowledged that she and Black were “pretty much completely opposites.”

Over the years, Griffin has been linked to several public figures and has been married twice. She was married to computer administrator Matt Moline from 2001 to 2006.

She later dated marketing executive Randy Bick from 2012 until 2018.

The couple reunited in 2019 and married in 2020 before divorcing in 2023. Their divorce was finalized last month.

Black, meanwhile, has been married to singer Tanya Haden since 2006. The couple shares two teenage sons, Samuel and Thomas.
