According to Cavallari, things began to spiral when the HVAC unit in their rental home broke. Workers were called in to fix the issue, and during that time, Cavallari’s Uncommon James jewelry collection was spread out in her closet. Unfortunately, someone else took notice.

That night, Cavallari woke up to find a man crawling on the floor of her bedroom—while she was lying in bed with her son Cam. Half-asleep, but with her motherly instincts firing on all cylinders, Cavallari yelled, “What the f*ck are you doing?”

The intruder, dressed in a ski mask, black shirt, and black pants, immediately bolted from the room.
