A man was found dead on a sidewalk in downtown Los Angeles early Tuesday morning, following another night of violent unrest connected to ongoing anti-ICE demonstrations, as reported by the Gateway Pundit.
The discovery was made near the corner of West 3rd Street and Broadway, an area where looting had taken place just hours earlier.

According to authorities, the unresponsive individual was located around 1:30 a.m. by officers responding to reports from the area. The Los Angeles Police Department has not released the identity of the man and said the cause of death remains under investigation.

Video from the scene captured by local outlet KTLA showed the man lying on his back in a red sweatshirt while investigators examined the area. A canopy was later placed over the body as the investigation continued.
The incident occurred adjacent to a T-Mobile store that had been looted prior to the arrival of police.
It has not yet been determined whether the man’s death is directly linked to the riots, which have continued for five consecutive days across Los Angeles. The unrest began on June 6, following Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations targeting illegal activity in the city.

The riots have led to widespread property damage, injuries, and clashes with law enforcement. As of Tuesday, authorities have reported over 150 arrests in connection with the violence.
At least five officers with the Los Angeles Police Department and six officers with the California Highway Patrol have sustained injuries during the unrest.
To quell the escalating situation, President Donald Trump ordered the deployment of 2,000 National Guard troops to the area on June 7.
That number was doubled with an additional 2,000 troops sent two days later, along with 700 active-duty Marines under the direction of Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
ICE has confirmed 118 immigration-related arrests since the protests began. Federal officials have stated that operations will continue, and the Department of Justice has announced that those who commit crimes against federal personnel or property will be prosecuted.
While the investigation into the man’s death continues, local officials have urged the public to remain calm and refrain from violence. Authorities have not ruled out a connection to the protests but are awaiting autopsy results and further forensic analysis.
