Larter described the event as a meaningful gathering with loved ones and expressed appreciation for those who helped organize the weekend.
“On the eve of my big birthday, loved ones gathered for an unforgettable weekend in my happy place,” she wrote in the caption.

In one image shared from the trip, Larter posed on a wooden deck overlooking the ocean. She wore a white bikini paired with a crochet cover-up skirt while standing near the stairs that led down to the water.
The same outfit appeared in additional photos from the celebration, including a group picture with friends and another group shot in which Larter posed without the cover-up.
Another image showed the actress posing near the shoreline while wearing a green bikini along with black sunglasses and a green and white patterned long-sleeved cover-up and skirt.
In another photo shared in the post, Larter appeared to be cooling off in the ocean while wearing a black string bikini.
Fans quickly responded in the comment section, praising the actress and referencing some of her past roles.
“The abs Brooke Wyndham would be proud,” one fan wrote, referencing Larter’s character in the film “Legally Blonde.”
Another commenter wrote, “Please let me look even half this hot at 50. ”

Larter has spoken publicly about reaching the milestone birthday in recent months. In February, the actress attended a luncheon celebrating the opening of Canyon Ranch Austin, a wellness destination in Texas.

“The women that I know that [are] older than me are living their best lives. They’re taking care of themselves. I have a big birthday coming this year, and I’m excited,” she said.
Larter also discussed the routines she follows to stay in shape, particularly while preparing for her role in the television series “Landman.” In the show, she plays Angela Norris, the ex-wife of Billy Bob Thornton’s character.
In an interview with People magazine in November 2025, Larter said maintaining her physical fitness requires consistent effort.
“I’ll tell you what. I work really hard, OK? I’m not pretending that I don’t,” she said.
“I’m up at 4:30 [a.m.] on Mondays. I go for a run. It’s only 30 minutes. I try to eat very clean, but I eat. I’m one of those protein mommies. I eat so much protein all day long. It works for me.”
Larter also said her fitness routine includes strength training.
She explained that being comfortable on screen can still present challenges.
“Anytime you have to put on a bathing suit and walk in front of anybody, it’s not easy,” she said.
Despite those challenges, Larter said she approaches her role with confidence.
