A newly released report has exposed disturbing activity within the National Security Agency (NSA), where employees have allegedly used government messaging systems to discuss explicit sexual topics, including transgender surgeries, fetishes, and other highly personal details—all during work hours and on taxpayer-funded platforms.
City Journal’s Chris Rufo and Hannah Grossman revealed on Monday that they had obtained chat logs from the NSA’s Intelink messaging system, a classified internal communication network.
These logs, dating back over two years, show NSA and other intelligence agency employees engaging in discussions about intimate personal matters, including transgender procedures and hormone treatments.

One of the most frequently discussed topics in the chat room was male-to-female transgender surgeries.
In one instance, a user detailed their experience undergoing gender reassignment surgery, writing, “[M]ine is everything. [I]’ve found that I like being penetrated (never liked it before GRS), but all the rest is just as important as well.” Another intelligence employee stated that genital surgery allowed them “to wear leggings or bikinis without having to wear a gaff under it.”
Other employees spoke openly about medical procedures and hormone treatments.
One individual described spending thousands of dollars on laser hair removal, commenting, “[G]etting my butthole zapped by a laser was… shocking.”

Another participant discussed estrogen treatments, saying, “Look, I just enjoy helping other people experience boobs.”
A Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) employee shared a personal experience, adding, “[O]ne of the weirdest things that gives me euphoria is when I pee, I don’t have to push anything down to make sure it aims right.”

According to Rufo and Grossman, these discussions were not rogue conversations but were sanctioned under the NSA’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Employees reportedly used LGBTQ+ “employee resource groups” to normalize these discussions and incorporate them into official workplace activities.
These groups frequently held meetings with titles such as “Privilege,” “Ally Awareness,” “Pride,” and “Transgender Community Inclusion.”
One current NSA employee told City Journal that the chat groups were not just tolerated but encouraged.
“They spent all day recruiting activists and holding meetings,” the employee said, adding that NSA leadership openly supported DEI efforts and referred to them as “mission imperative.”
The report also raises concerns over the professionalism and mental fitness of some NSA employees.
In one instance, an intelligence worker insisted on being referred to with the pronoun “it” instead of traditional human pronouns.
“[I]t/its user here. While I understand we can make some people uncomfortable, keep in mind that the dehumanizing aspect either a) doesn’t apply or b) is a positive effect when we’re requesting it.”
One NSA official claims to use “it/its” pronouns, meaning that this person does not identify as a human, but rather, feels like a sexless, genderless thing. Other intel employees defend the usage of “it/itself” pronouns, claiming that not using them amounts to trans “erasure.” pic.twitter.com/dMI1ZClejg

When another employee questioned the use of the term, CIA and NSA workers quickly accused the commenter of “erasing” transgender identities.
In addition to discussions about gender identity, other conversations reportedly contained references to sexual activities, including one disturbing thread on group encounters.
One NSA source told Rufo and Grossman that nearly all of these explicit discussions took place during work hours.
Elon Musk reacted to the report on social media, responding with humor but also hinting at deeper concerns about the agency’s work environment.
“Their SCIF must look like a Jackson Pollock painting under a black light!” Musk posted, along with a laughing emoji.

The release of these chat logs has sparked widespread reaction, raising questions about the priorities within the intelligence community and the extent to which taxpayer-funded resources are being used for non-work-related discussions.
With concerns about national security at an all-time high, the revelations have led to renewed calls for oversight and accountability within the intelligence agencies.
