Commentator Tomi Lahren addressed questions surrounding how President Donald Trump may handle tensions involving Iran, while also criticizing reactions to his recent remarks on Truth Social.
Lahren said she is uncertain about what steps the president will ultimately take, but suggested she does not expect a repeat of past U.S. foreign policy approaches.
“I don’t know if he takes the step. I don’t know if he has to,” Lahren said.
She added that she does not believe the situation would follow a pattern seen in previous administrations.

“I don’t think this is going to be a situation of you break it, you buy it, which we’ve done in the past,” she said.
Lahren also referenced concerns about mission expansion in overseas conflicts.
“You mentioned mission creep earlier. I don’t think this is a president that’s going to do much of that,” she said.
She contrasted that view with prior efforts tied to foreign interventions.

“No building soccer fields, right? I think we’re past that,” Lahren said.
According to Lahren, she does not expect the current administration’s strategy to include long-term nation-building efforts.
“And this President and the Secretary of War, I don’t think that that’s going to be their mission or their game plan or their desire,” she said.
In addition to foreign policy, Lahren addressed reactions to President Trump’s language in a recent Truth Social post, focusing on criticism from political opponents.
“But I will say this to the colorful language that he used in the truth social post, watching all these libs freak out over it, to me, is really something,” she said.
Lahren argued that critics of the president’s rhetoric have previously defended or engaged in similar behavior.
“These are the same people that defend globalize the Antifa,” she said.
She also pointed to criticism directed at law enforcement.
“These are the same people who call our ICE agents the Gestapo,” Lahren said.
Continuing her remarks, she said critics have used strong labels against others.
“They call us fascist, Nazis, Hitler, who throw rocks at our ICE agents and bottles at police horses,” she said.
Lahren then referenced language used by some Democratic political campaigns.
“Okay, so he used a word that you don’t like, which, by the way, a number of Democrat political candidates have put out official campaign videos saying, F Trump,” she said.
She dismissed concerns about the tone of the president’s post.
“So please with your clutching of your pearls about, oh, we don’t like this truth social by President Trump,” Lahren said.
Lahren concluded by saying she is not concerned about whether the remarks offend critics.
“I’m really not too concerned if it, if it insults those folks or not,” she said.
