Lies, Dem Lies, & Stabtistics: Pelosi Rewriting J-6 ‘No National Guard’ History to Slander Trump

Ah, those precious few Democrats skilled in the art of the political shiv. A flagrant, public stab-in-the-back assertion that is breathtakingly untrue, and intended by the sheer audacity of it being spoken to eclipse the original fact it is meant to conceal and replace. 

So polished and practiced in their perfidy, there’s no requirement for veracity in the initial attack nor shame afterward when and if the lie is exposed.

The effectiveness of the kill stroke is what matters, and the reputation of the assassin is only enhanced even more.

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid has no regrets with falsely accusing Mitt Romney of paying zero taxes for ten years during the 2012 presidential elections.

“So the word is out that he has not paid any taxes for ten years,” Reid said on the Senate floor in August 2012. “Let him prove that he has paid taxes, because he hasn’t.”

Some, like the late Harry Reid, are legendary for their ruthless, unrepentant willingness to spin the slime needed to achieve the objective.

And allow themselves a smug victory gloat afterwards.

…“Well, they can call it whatever they want,” Reid said. “Romney didn’t win, did he?”

The last remaining practitioner of this ancient art left standing in Washington is probably Nancy Pelosi. I can’t think of anyone who manipulates people, situations, and the truth as effortlessly as she does. 

No one in the current Democrat hierarchy even comes close to her deft, iron-fisted narrative control, nor looks as if they ever will. 

Her hip apparently on the mend, and the unpleasantness with the palace coup she initiated cast aside, Pelosi stepped back into the spotlight yesterday to practice her dark art, smearing her perpetual nemesis as an authoritarian dictator on a rampage.

But the former Speaker marched out there regardless, to spin this yarn, this whopper of a history rewrite for the cameras in order to reinforce the current law-breaking, riot-encouraging, illegal immigrant-embracing narrative.

Only…this isn’t 2020 with a friendly social media-induced blackout anymore.

Oh, this new world where the average American has access to it ALL, not just the selected bits a manipulative elite chooses to feed them, has to be maddening for those who have been so accustomed to owning the battle space unhindered and unquestioned.

The faces on the players on the progressive Democratic side might not have changed very much in five years, but the entire scenario has shifted 180° in terms of the effectiveness of their old game plan.

Only, it doesn’t seem as if they have realized it’s a brave new world outside their bubble yet.
