50 Cent’s private jet was among those caught up in the major flight delays plaguing the country’s airports amid the government shutdown.
The famous singer took to Instagram Nov. 9 with a series of posts showing the backlog and impact of the flight delays, and he told fans he was sick and tired of it all. He recorded video footage showing travelers packed like sardines in endless lines, with little hope for progress.
“Man the airport is f*cked up, forget about traveling right now!” 50 Cent wrote in his caption.
Thousands of flights have been canceled as the country’s air travel industry struggles with cuts, and celebrities aren’t exempt from the frustrations surrounding delays, cancellations and jam-packed airports full of angry travelers.
50 Cent shared a video from inside his private jet, making it known that he wasn’t getting any special treatment despite his star power. He deplaned his private plane, saying it wasn’t cleared for take off.

“I’m headed back to Shreveport this ain’t it,” he captioned the clip. “Bad Travel day!”
“Government shutdown getting so crazy,” he said.
The confusion and stressful commute times come amid the longest government shutdown in U.S. history, which began Oct. 1.
