The highly anticipated games will take place at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, on April 5.

The last time this happened was in 2008, when the Final Four featured North Carolina, Kansas, UCLA, and Memphis, with the host city also being San Antonio.

That year, Kansas emerged as the national champion, defeating Memphis 75-68 in the title game.

Kansas’ Darrell Arthur led the charge with 20 points, and star guard Mario Chalmers contributed 18 points to secure the win.

However, just over a year later, Memphis was forced to vacate its 2007-08 record due to NCAA rules violations related to player Derrick Rose’s eligibility, and the team was placed on probation for three years.

This year’s No. 1 seeds have delivered thrilling performances in the lead-up to the Final Four, starting with Auburn’s dramatic victory over the second-seeded Michigan State Spartans in Atlanta.

The game, played on Sunday evening, sealed Auburn’s spot in the Final Four and made history by completing the sweep for the top seeds, a feat only achieved once before.

Earlier on Sunday, No. 1 Houston made quick work of Tennessee in Indianapolis, securing a dominant victory that earned them a trip to the semifinals.

On Saturday, Florida, the No. 1 seed in their region, held off a strong challenge from No. 3 Texas Tech to advance to the Final Four.

Meanwhile, Duke, another No. 1 seed, comfortably defeated Alabama to ensure their place in the semifinals.

Now, all eyes are on the two matchups scheduled for the Final Four.

Florida and Auburn, both teams from the Southeastern Conference (SEC), will square off in the first semifinal game, while Houston will face Duke in the second.

The winners of these games will advance to the national championship game.

The 2025 Final Four marks a significant milestone in the history of March Madness.

While the dominance of the top seeds is rare, the excitement surrounding these matchups is unparalleled.

Fans can look forward to a thrilling weekend of college basketball, with the chance to witness history in the making.

The Final Four games will take place on April 5 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, where the nation’s best teams will battle it out for a chance to claim the coveted national title.

As the teams prepare for the semifinals, the 2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament is shaping up to be one of the most memorable in recent history.
