The owner of a viral Florida Panhandle home adorned with signs supporting President Donald Trump is now honoring Charlie Kirk with a bold tribute.

Martin Peavy owns the four deck home in Walton county. He spoke to the Daily Caller about his decision to replace his typical Trump-related signs with a singular sign honoring Kirk.

Peavy reflected on the Turning Point USA founder’s impact on U.S. college campuses.

“He went around to our colleges, where people are influenced a lot, and he opened his mouth and spoke the truth,” Peavy told the Caller.

Peavy asserted that Kirk was on track to become a future Republican president. “That’s why they took him out now,” he said.

Peavy told the Caller about the public support he’s received from the locals and visitors who drive by his home. (RELATED: 58 Democrats Vote Against Resolution To Honor Charlie Kirk’s Life)

“I’ve got, hundreds of thousands and billions of people beeping the horn and telling me, you know, ‘we love it,’” he stated.

The home — which went viral on social media —  has received attention from several notable figures, including Hershel Walker, Benny Johnson and Clay Travis, according to Peavy.

After a complaint was filed about his pro-Trump banners, Walton County code enforcement told Peavy his signs broke Scenic Corridor Code 6.10.05, according to a March WJHC report.

When he refused to remove them, the county began fining him $50 per day — resulting in over $60,000 in penalties, according to the outlet. Peavy argued the ordinance trampled his First Amendment rights and amounted to government overreach. Court documents show his legal team argued the sign ordinance was unconstitutional, according to WJHC.

The county dropped the fight in March and agreed to pay him $42,000 in legal fees, the outlet reported.

Peavy recalled being “scared to death” when he first put up the Trump sign, fearing it might land him in jail. He said the county didn’t complain about the sign at first, but when they eventually asked him to take it down, he refused. The settlement only generated more publicity for the Hawkinsville, Georgia, native and his now-famous “Trump house.” It caught the attention of Trump himself, who called Peavy in March on his personal cell phone.

“Donald called me on the phone,” Peavy told the Caller. “He didn’t say, ‘Hey, Marvin, how are you doing?’ He basically went right in, ‘Hey man, I really appreciate you hanging my signs and you know, we talked for 20 minutes.”

Peavy, the son of schoolteachers, forged his own path in the apartment business and now owns a beachside home.

“I grew up just as normal as Joe on the street, you know, riding a bicycle until I was 18 years old because I had no money to buy a card,” he told the Caller.

He takes pride in designing and hanging new signs, many of which have marked major political moments involving the president over the past five years.

“We seem to hit the events at the right time. When Trump got shot, we put up the ‘Bulletproof’ sign. For Father’s Day, we put up ‘Who’s Your Daddy.’ During the election, I actually hung the sign before the election was even over,” Peavy said.

Kirk’s memorial was held Sunday at Arizona’s State Farm Stadium, where thousands attended.

“Charlie has done a lot for a lot of people … I think it’s starting to come out, [which is a] good thing,” Peavy told the Caller.
