House Republicans are intensifying their probe into President Joe Biden’s health by requesting interviews with five top White House officials, including former Chief of Staff Ron Klain and senior advisor Anita Dunn.
Klain and Dunn are the latest top Biden administration officials in the crosshairs of Republican House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, according to a Wednesday announcement.
Democrats and Legacy Media LIED, saying Biden was “fine” and “sharp.”
Now they act like the COVER-UP never happened.

“The American people deserve full transparency and the House Oversight Committee is conducting a thorough investigation to provide answers and accountability. The cover-up of President Biden’s mental decline is one of the greatest scandals in our nation’s history,” Comer stated (RELATED: ‘I Think You’re Full Of Crap’: Biden’s Fmr Assistant Gets Earful From Sean Hannity)
Along with Klain and Dunn, Comer also requested testimony from former senior advisor Mike Donilon, Deputy Chief of Staff Bruce Reed and counselor Steve Ricchetti. (RELATED: Document-Wielding Peter Doocy Asks Karoline Leavitt Pressing Question About Biden Autopen Signatures)
In each letter, Comer wrote, “The Committee requests your testimony to evaluate your eye-witness account of former President Biden’s decline.”
He also warned that the aides must agree to appear by June 11 — with testimony taking place in July — or face a subpoena.
Let me be clear.
If any of these Biden White House staffers fail to cooperate with this investigation, I will issue subpoenas to compel their appearance.

All five witnesses have been identified in reports as some of Biden’s closest advisors, with some of the relationships dating back decades.
Donilon has been an advisor to Biden since 1981 and served as a counselor during his vice presidency and a chief strategist during his two presidential campaigns. Reed was a chief of staff during Biden’s vice presidency and worked with then-Senator Biden to pass the 1994 crime bill. Richetti was also a chief of staff for Biden when he was vice president.
Dunn, who first got close to Biden in 2015 as he decided whether to run for president, rejected the idea that Biden’s June 2024 presidential debate against President Donald Trump was “catastrophic” and partially blamed a “bad cold” for his poor performance, in a Politico interview shortly after Biden was forced out of the race.
Klain, another former chief of staff to Vice President Biden, reportedly told author Chris Whipple earlier this year that Biden seemed “out of it” during preparations for the presidential debate and “couldn’t grasp what the back and forth was.” Klain later seemed to back off these assertions, telling Politico, “My point wasn’t that the president lacked mental acuity … He was out of it because he had been [sidelined], not because he lacked capacity.”
Comer previously sent letters to Biden’s physician, Kevin O’Connor, and four senior aides — Neera Tanden, Anthony Bernal, Annie Tomasini and Ashley Williams — on May 22, requesting transcribed interviews as part of the ongoing investigation.
I look forward to working with Chairman Comer and @GOPoversight to uncover just how deep this scandal goes.
Congress must hold these folks accountable. https://t.co/2nGSzwwyg3

Tanden, the president and CEO of a left-wing think tank, the Center for American Progress, worked on the Obama-Biden campaign and in the Obama administration.
Bernal and Tomasini were described as part of the “Politiburo” — or tight inner circle surrounding the Bidens — in CNN host Jake Tapper and Axios’ national political correspondent Alex Thompson’s new book “Original Sin,” which digs into the alleged cover-up of Biden’s mental decline. Bernal and Tomasini were “intensely loyal” to Biden, the book says, and even had access to the family’s living quarters.
Williams, meanwhile, was a senior assistant to then-second lady Jill Biden during the Obama administration.
Comer initially issued subpoenas to Tomasini, Bernal and Williams in July 2024 following the June presidential debate.
The Senate Judiciary Committee is simultaneously investigating the alleged cover-up of Biden’s cognitive decline. Biden’s pardons of his son, other family members, and political allies are expected to be a topic of discussion at a committee hearing on June 18.
A spokesperson from Republican Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt’s office revealed to the Daily Caller that the committee expects to finalize its list of witnesses by early next week.
