Megyn Kelly didn’t hold back in her recent critique of CNN’s primetime anchor Kaitlan Collins, slamming her coming across like a “cold-hearted b—h” who needs to lighten up and show some personality. Kelly, known for her direct and unfiltered style, took issue with Collins during a segment on her popular SiriusXM show, “The Megyn Kelly Show,” as reported by the New York Post.
Kelly’s harsh words were prompted by Collins’ appearance on HBO’s “Real Time” with Bill Maher, where Collins tried to defend CNN as a “fair” network that appeals to both sides of the political spectrum. Kelly was quick to dismiss this claim, pointing out what she sees as Collins’ real problem: she’s dull.
“I’ll tell you what her biggest flaw is—it’s not just that she’s biased, though she definitely is. It’s that she’s downright boring. No personality whatsoever,” Kelly remarked. She didn’t stop there, offering a sarcastic tip to the young anchor: “Smile a little, Kaitlan. Try not to come across as such a cold-hearted b—h. People might actually start to like you.”

Kelly, a former anchor at both Fox News and NBC, also ridiculed the idea that Collins is considered a “star” at CNN. “Let’s be real—she’s only a star in the eyes of the leftists,” Kelly scoffed, referencing Collins’ new role on “The Source” after the failed CNN morning show she co-hosted with Don Lemon and Poppy Harlow.
Collins had tried to leverage her Alabama roots during her conversation with Maher, claiming her background gave her the authority to speak on conservative issues. “I’m from Alabama, a very red state. My family is conservative, many of them Trump voters. They watch my show every night because they trust me to call out bulls–t on both sides,” Collins said.
But Kelly wasn’t buying it. She dismissed the notion that Collins’ Southern background somehow makes her a balanced reporter.
CNN declined to comment on Kelly’s fiery remarks, but the numbers speak for themselves. Kelly’s YouTube channel, which streams her SiriusXM show, recently hit a milestone with over 1 billion views and more than 2.3 million subscribers. In July alone, her channel garnered 116.8 million views—blowing past legacy networks like NBC News, CBS News, Sky News, and the BBC.
Kelly took the opportunity to highlight why alternative media platforms like hers are thriving. “People are tired of the nonsense being spewed by mainstream media,” she declared. “That’s why they’re turning to alternatives like us—we tell it like it is.”
