Melania Opens Up About Barron’s Role and Cherished Campaign Moments [WATCH]

In her first in-depth interview since Donald Trump’s recent electoral victory, Melania Trump shared insights about her family, her future plans as First Lady, and her thoughts on her son Barron’s political acumen.

Speaking with Fox & Friends, Melania displayed a mix of pride, humor, and preparation as she addressed a range of topics, as reported by The Daily Mail.

Melania began by reacting to the viral video of her 18-year-old son, Barron, playfully discussing his “soot case.” She expressed deep pride in him, calling him a “grown young man” and acknowledging the unique challenges he faces because of the Trump family name.

Reflecting on Barron’s contributions to his father’s campaign, Melania noted his ability to connect with his generation.

“He brought in so many young people. He knows his generation,” she explained.

“Nowadays, the young generation, they don’t sit in front of TV anymore, they’re all on their tablets, they’re on their phones and all of this these podcasts and streamers. He was very vocal and he gave advice to his father and was incredible how he brought in a success because he knew exactly who his father needs to contact and to talk to.”

Barron, now attending NYU, experiences a vastly different college life compared to his peers, complete with a Secret Service detail shadowing him. “I don’t think it’s possible for him to be a normal student. His experience at college, it’s very different than any other kid,” Melania said, adding that his surname and family legacy make him stand out.

The conversation took a lighter turn when Melania was asked about Donald Trump’s famous dance moves, which have gained viral popularity among athletes and on social media.

Laughing, she admitted she hasn’t tried his signature fist-pumping and golf-swing gestures, describing them as “special and unique.”

“I think a lot of people are copying it and everybody have fun with it.” she quipped, playfully dodging questions about whether she’s joined her husband on the dance floor.

Unlike their first transition to the White House in 2017, Melania indicated the process this time is more streamlined. “This time, it’s very different because we already know where we’re going,” she said.

Her team is working closely with the current White House staff, and Melania is actively hiring her own East Wing team to ensure a smooth start.

Longtime Trump loyalist Hayley Harrison has been named Melania’s chief of staff, bringing seven years of experience working with the former First Lady. Harrison and her husband, William “Beau” Harrison, have remained part of the Trumps’ inner circle, previously working for Donald Trump’s Save America PAC.

Melania also revealed plans to revive her Be Best initiative, focused on children’s welfare, online safety, and opioid abuse. Additionally, she highlighted her entrepreneurial efforts, which include selling collectibles such as NFTs and Christmas ornaments.
