Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia said Saturday that private security firms contacted her with safety warnings after President Donald Trump publicly withdrew his endorsement of her.
The Georgia Republican claimed on X that Trump’s rhetoric created a “hot bed of threats” against her.
“I am now being contacted by private security firms with warnings for my safety as a hot bed of threats against me are being fueled and egged on by the most powerful man in the world. The man I supported and helped get elected,” Greene wrote on X.
The congresswoman said she takes threats seriously.
“I now have a small understanding of the fear and pressure the women, who are victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his cabal, must feel,” Greene said. (RELATED: Trump Officially Cuts Off Support Of MTG)

Trump’s Truth Social post called Greene “Wacky Marjorie” and a “ranting Lunatic,” while threatening to back a primary challenger with his “Complete and Unyielding Support.”
The president accused Greene of going “Far Left” and complained she constantly calls him despite his busy schedule managing “219 Congressmen/women, 53 U.S. Senators, 24 Cabinet Members, almost 200 Countries.”
Security concerns aren’t new for Greene. Her Georgia residence has been swatted multiple times since entering Congress. A December 2024 bomb threat caused a fatal car accident when responding officers crashed, killing 66-year-old Tammie Pickelsimer.
Federal authorities charged two foreign nationals in August 2024 for multiple swatting attacks targeting Greene.
Past incidents included false reports of shootings and dead bodies at her home. Both her daughters’ homes were swatted on the same day in December 2023, CBS reported.
