Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) reaffirmed her commitment to the America First agenda in a social media post this week, stating that those who do not share her position are “the enemy,” as reported by Fox News.

In a statement posted to her official account, Greene wrote, “I’m America First. Maybe even America only. I don’t care if you call me an isolationist. America is our home. And it’s falling apart.”

Greene cited rising financial pressures on younger generations as the driving force behind her position.

“When my children’s generation are buried in credit card debt, student loan debt, can’t afford rent, can’t afford car insurance, health insurance, and feel like they will never be able to afford to buy a home — Yes. I’m unapologetically and radically AMERICA FIRST,” Greene wrote.

“AND SHAME ON EVERYONE ELSE WHO IS NOT. As a matter of fact YOU are the problem. YOU are the enemy. As a mother, I can’t see it any other way.”

Greene’s comments come amid broader expressions of dissatisfaction with the direction of the Republican Party. In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, the Georgia congresswoman questioned whether the GOP still represents the interests of working Americans.

“I don’t know if the Republican Party is leaving me, or if I’m kind of not relating to Republican Party as much anymore,” Greene said. “I think the Republican Party has turned its back on America First and the workers and just regular Americans.”

I’m America First.

Maybe even America only.

I don’t care if you call me an isolationist.

America is our home.

And it’s falling apart.

When my children’s generation are buried in credit card debt, student loan debt, can’t afford rent, can’t afford car insurance, health…

First elected to Congress in 2020, Greene has consistently aligned herself with the populist wing of the party and has frequently clashed with establishment Republicans on issues ranging from foreign aid to government spending.

Her latest remarks continue a pattern of vocal advocacy against what she views as the abandonment of nationalist priorities by GOP leadership.

Greene has also criticized the party for, in her view, failing to prioritize economic relief for working-class families while funding overseas interests.

Greene’s America First message has gained traction among a segment of Republican voters who support policies centered on domestic manufacturing, border security, and reduced foreign entanglements.

However, it has also drawn criticism from both Democrats and more moderate Republicans.

The congresswoman has not indicated any plans to leave the Republican Party but continues to publicly question its direction.

Her remarks this week signal continued tension between the grassroots populist base and the party establishment ahead of the 2026 midterm election cycle.
