Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) issued a pointed rebuke of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) over the weekend, accusing the New York Democrat of hypocrisy in her stance on U.S. military involvement overseas, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.
Greene criticized Ocasio-Cortez for condemning President Donald Trump’s recent airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities while previously voting to fund the war in Ukraine during President Biden’s administration.
Ocasio-Cortez had sharply denounced Trump’s decision to launch precision strikes on Iranian targets, calling the action “disastrous” and “impulsive.”

In a public statement on X, she claimed that the airstrikes were “clearly grounds for impeachment.”
“The President’s disastrous decision to bomb Iran without authorization is a grave violation of the Constitution and Congressional War Powers. He has impulsively risked launching a war that may ensnare us for generations. It is absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote.

Following her remarks, some House Democrats began circulating articles of impeachment, citing a violation of the War Powers Resolution and arguing that Trump acted without congressional authorization.
Greene responded forcefully on X, calling Ocasio-Cortez a “pathetic little hypocrite” and accusing her of playing both sides of the war debate depending on the political climate.
“Shut up you pathetic little hypocrite,” Greene wrote.

The Georgia congresswoman’s remarks referenced Ocasio-Cortez’s previous votes supporting military aid to Ukraine, which Greene framed as inconsistent with her current anti-war rhetoric.
Greene argued that Democrats frequently fund foreign conflicts when it suits their agenda, only to reverse course when it is politically convenient to appear opposed to war.
