The controversy stems from Brazil’s Supreme Court, led by Justice Alexandre de Moraes, ordering a nationwide block on X. The decision came after Musk refused to comply with the court’s demands to remove certain accounts from his platform.

In a bold move, Musk closed X’s office in Brazil, prompting the court to freeze the assets of his satellite internet company, Starlink, as reported by Fox News.

De Moraes didn’t stop there—he threatened fines of nearly $9,000 per day for anyone attempting to access X, further escalating tensions between Musk and Brazilian authorities.

Musk, known for his outspoken defense of free speech, slammed the decision, framing it as a dangerous overreach of government power.
