Naked Florida Man Arrested After Late-Night Rampage in Pinellas Park Neighborhood [WATCH]

A 23-year-old man in Florida was arrested this week after a series of late-night break-ins and lewd acts that alarmed residents in a Pinellas Park neighborhood.

Authorities say the suspect, identified as Joshua Garrison, was caught on camera wandering through yards without clothing, damaging property, and attempting to break into homes, as reported by The New York Post.

The Pinellas Park Police Department confirmed that Garrison’s behavior sparked multiple emergency calls from residents who said the man was “terrorizing” the neighborhood.

Security footage reviewed by police showed Garrison trespassing on several properties in the early hours of the morning while naked and engaging in lewd behavior.

One resident, David Dale, told WFLA that he was startled awake when Garrison showed up at his front door. “I was asleep, and the doorbell rang, and I answered the door,” Dale said. “Opened the door and there was a guy standing there, and he was stark naked.”

Dale said the suspect then became destructive. “He threw a pot of plants through my truck window and tore the lights off the front of my house,” he recalled.

Another resident, Thomas Reischmann, described a separate encounter in which Garrison attempted to enter his home. “He went into my shed, grabbed an ax and came back onto the back porch,” Reischmann said.

“We don’t know why he didn’t use it.” Reischmann said his back door was unlocked at the time of the incident.

Security footage also showed Garrison taking a bottle of beer and a can of soda from Reischmann’s outdoor refrigerator before jumping over a six-foot fence to flee.

The bizarre string of events left many residents shaken. Some told reporters that the suspect was fortunate not to have been shot during the break-ins. “We are all Second Amendment people here in Pinellas Park; we will shoot you,” one neighbor said. “He got lucky we didn’t wake up.”

Police responded to multiple reports of suspicious activity on October 7. After several days of investigation, Garrison was located and taken into custody on Tuesday. Authorities believe he is homeless.

According to Pinellas Park police, Garrison faces several charges, including armed residential burglary, two counts of residential burglary, lewd behavior, criminal mischief, and violation of probation.

Garrison is being held at the Pinellas County Jail as investigators continue reviewing footage and gathering statements from residents affected by the rampage.
