President Donald Trump issued a sharp rebuke of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Truth Social, criticizing his leadership and approach to ongoing peace negotiations with Russia.
In a post on Tuesday, Trump warned that unless Zelenskyy changes course, Ukraine risks losing everything.
In his post, Trump claimed that Zelenskyy has mismanaged the war effort and taken advantage of U.S. financial support under Joe Biden.
Dennis Quaid’s #1 Warning for Americans
“Think of it, a modestly successful comedian, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, talked the United States of America into spending $350 Billion Dollars, to go into a War that couldn’t be won, that never had to start, but a War that he, without the U.S. and ‘TRUMP,’ will never be able to settle,” Trump wrote.
Trump also questioned what the U.S. has received in return for the massive aid sent to Ukraine, stating that the country had provided “nothing back” despite receiving $200 billion in assistance to protect Ukraine’s borders.
He went further, claiming that half of the aid funds sent to Ukraine are missing, though he did not specify the source of that figure.
“On top of this, Zelenskyy admits that half of the money we sent him is ‘MISSING.’ He refuses to have Elections, is very low in Ukrainian Polls, and the only thing he was good at was playing Biden ‘like a fiddle.’”

Trump also took aim at Zelenskyy’s decision to suspend elections in Ukraine, calling it an undemocratic move.
TRUMP: DICTATOR ZELENSKY BETTER MOVE FAST OR HE’S NOT GOING TO HAVE A COUNTRY LEFT

He suggested that Ukraine’s leader was losing support and pointed to his reported 4% approval rating as an indication that his hold on power was tenuous.
“We have a situation where we haven’t had elections in Ukraine, where we have martial law, essentially martial law in Ukraine, where the leader in Ukraine – I mean, I hate to say it, but he’s down at 4 percent approval rating, and where a country has been blown to smithereens,” Trump said during a press conference at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday.

Trump made it clear that he believes the war should have ended long ago and blamed Ukraine’s leadership for allowing the conflict to escalate.
“You have leadership now that’s allowed a war to go on that should have never even happened, even without the United States,” he told reporters.
While Trump acknowledged that he “likes” Zelenskyy personally, he did not hold back in his criticism:
“You should have ended it – three years, you should have never started it.”
The Trump administration’s diplomatic efforts to end the Ukraine-Russia conflict are now moving forward without Zelenskyy at the table.
The initial negotiations, led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, began this week and included key figures from both Washington and Moscow.
Trump said he was “much more confident” following a meeting between Rubio, White House National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, and Putin aide Yuri Ushakov. He described the discussions as “very good” and expressed optimism about reaching an agreement.
“Russia wants to do something. They want to stop the savage barbarianism,” Trump claimed.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly expressed interest in meeting directly with Trump, but the two leaders have yet to finalize the details of such a meeting.
As Trump discussed his negotiations, Ukraine came under new drone attacks on Kyiv, underscoring the ongoing volatility of the conflict.
The strikes occurred shortly before Trump made his latest remarks, adding to the urgency of securing a peace agreement.
With Trump continuing to push for a resolution to the war, the divide between his administration and Zelenskyy appears to be growing.
As the peace talks progress, Ukraine’s future remains uncertain—especially without its leader at the bargaining table.
