NEW: Domestic Terror Plot Foiled in Austin, TX

Remember when Donald Trump’s candidacy supposedly represented lawlessness and a threat to democracy? Good times, good times.

In yet more evidence of a case of projection, Austin police discovered multiple “incendiary devices” planted at the local Tesla dealership. Police successfully removed the devices, which means that they may have not just saved a few electric vehicles — they may have preserved some key evidence for the FBI. “Incendiary devices” mean bombs in common parlance:

APD said it responded to a call about suspicious devices at the showroom around 8:04 a.m. Monday. The APD bomb squad was called out to investigate.

The devices were “determined to be incendiary” and were taken by police without incident, APD said.

This happened at 8:04 local time today. Oddly enough, the Dallas Morning News has yet to report on the act of domestic terrorism even at 1:45 in the afternoon. They do, however, have a snarky editorial cartoon poking fun at the rising acts of terror against Tesla and car owners over Elon Musk’s participation in the US DOGE Service and elimination of swaths of federal spending.

Fox News has picked up the story, however:

Incendiary devices were discovered at a Tesla dealership in Austin, Texas, on Monday morning, authorities said, the latest in widespread acts of violence targeting the electric carmaker.

The bomb squad investigated and removed the devices without incident after they were discovered at the dealership along U.S. Highway 183, the Austin Police Department said.

And credit where due — ABC News also picked up the story, albeit with pretty much identical information. Well, it’s a darned good thing that Texans have access to national media to cover a story in their own state capital, eh? Kudos to KXAN in Austin for the televised report above, however., and to other Texas stations such as KSAT, KEYE, and KCEN.  They seem to have a different definition of ‘news’ than the DMN, eh?

The Left has gone completely insane with their terror campaign against Tesla and its customers. They aren’t even hiding their intent to target Musk for his political engagement and their attempt to destroy his business for working with Trump. For the last four years, the Left and the Protection Racket Media has obsessed over the January 6 riot and attack on Congress without end, but now play a coordinated series of bombings across the country as some sort of benign joke, because it targets Trump’s allies.

Hopefully, the FBI will take over this latest attempted terrorist attack and find the culprits. The leftist domestic terrorists targeting and fire-bombing Tesla dealers and customers across the country must face harsh justice in order to disincentivize political violence — and the Protection Racket Media must be held accountable for their biased coverage of domestic terrorism as well.
