Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker took a trip to the White House, but not as part of a Super Bowl victory celebration.
Instead, the 29-year-old Pro Bowl player met personally with President Donald Trump, catching up in the Oval Office, as reported by TMZ.
A White House staffer shared a snapshot of the meeting Thursday morning, showing Trump seated at the Resolute Desk, speaking with Butker.

While the reason for the visit wasn’t immediately clear, the two men have shared common ground before—particularly when it comes to defending life and conservative values.

Butker is no stranger to controversy, especially after last year’s firestorm over his commencement address at Benedictine College. His unapologetic stance on faith and family values sent leftists into a tailspin, but he never backed down.
Given that history, it’s hardly surprising that he and President Trump would find themselves in the same room.
The Chiefs kicker made his political stance known back in October, when he publicly endorsed Trump for reelection.
During a Fox News appearance, Butker didn’t mince words about why he was throwing his support behind the 47th president, pointing to the sanctity of life as his top concern.
“I’m supporting the president that’s going to be the most pro-life president I want us to be fighting for the most vulnerable, fighting for the unborn, and that’s what we should prioritize.”
Former President Donald Trump gives a “thumbs up” to the media as he leaves following his appearance in Swannanoa, October 21, 2024.Earlier this week, Trump confirmed that the Eagles would be invited to the White House, addressing reports that no invitation had been extended yet. Unlike his predecessor, who often politicized these visits, Trump has remained committed to preserving the tradition.
For Butker, though, this White House trip wasn’t about football—it was about standing firm on principles and spending time with a president who shares his commitment to life and faith.

Given the media’s track record, don’t expect glowing headlines about this meeting. But as usual, the left’s outrage won’t change a thing.
