Singer Nick Jonas sparked a wave of online reactions this week after revealing a personal habit about his bedroom routine with wife Priyanka Chopra, as reported by The Daily Mail.

The 32-year-old Jonas Brothers member made the comments during an appearance on Are You Okay?, a man-on-the-street style interview series.

When asked about what activities he allows in bed, Jonas answered firmly. “I think beds are for sleeping only,” he said. “I don’t sit on the bed, I don’t eat on the bed, I don’t read a book on the bed or watch TV… I can’t do it.”

Jonas, who married Chopra in 2018, explained that his preference comes from a dislike of heat. “I run hot,” he said. “It’s a whole thing.”

When pressed further, Jonas revealed that the couple does not share the same approach. Chopra prefers to watch television from bed, while he sits nearby. “I’ll pull a seat up and sit next to the bed,” Jonas admitted, prompting interviewer Tene Lewis to call the habit “crazy.”

Nick said he only uses the bed to sleep and not to watch tv. He pulls up a chair if he wants to watch tv in his room. I can’t explain it, but that is such a Nick Jonas thing to do.

Verdict is in: He is not okay because why would you want to rob yourself of being comfy in bed? 😂 pic.twitter.com/jS94X6DzIv

The admission quickly spread across social media, where many users labeled the behavior unusual.

One X user reacted, “Nick saying he doesn’t like to sit in bed so when Priyanka watches TV in it he pulls up a whole seat to sit BY the bed with her…. I think that just gave me the ick WTF.”

Other commenters defended the singer, pointing out that Jonas may simply be following healthy sleep practices.

“Y’all get the ick from anything lol. Weirdos,” one person wrote.

Another user said, “Why? It’s kind of sweet. He doesn’t like to sit in the bed during the day but he wants to be close to her. How is that not a green flag lol.”

Some even cited medical advice in defense of Jonas. “As a person with insomnia, my doctor told me to never be in bed watching TV. You need to train your brain that when you’re in bed it’s for sleep,” one commenter shared, adding that the practice helped improve rest.

Experts have previously supported this idea. Dr. Matthew Walker, professor of neuroscience and psychology at the University of California and author of Why We Sleep, has advised that beds should be reserved for sleep and intimacy.

Known as “stimulus control,” the approach encourages avoiding phones, laptops, and television in bed to improve sleep quality.

Jonas’s comments surfaced as his brother Joe Jonas also made headlines during the same interview series.

Joe, 36, recalled an embarrassing incident when he mistakenly high-fived a flight attendant after joining the Mile High Club on a private plane. “I thought I was high-fiving my drummer,” he explained, adding that the confusion came from wearing contact lenses.
