NYPD Hunts Four Suspects [WATCH]

The incident unfolded just before 11:20 p.m. near the popular venue located in Jamaica following a private event.

According to the NYPD and sources familiar with the situation, a group of four men fired at least 30 shots into a crowd that had gathered outside the nightclub.

The victims, six females and four males, were between the ages of 16 and 20. NYPD officials confirmed in a press conference on Thursday morning that all of the victims sustained gunshot wounds but are expected to survive.

None of the injuries were life-threatening, and none of the victims were reported to be in critical condition.

The injured individuals were quickly transported to nearby hospitals, including Long Island Jewish Hospital and Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center.

While details on the victims’ specific conditions remain scarce, it was confirmed that the response to the shooting was swift, with a heavy presence from emergency services.

Footage from the scene posted on the Citizen App showed a massive police and ambulance response outside Amazura.

Law enforcement investigators could be seen placing dozens of evidence markers on the sidewalk and street, marking the location of spent shell casings and other potential evidence.

Authorities have identified a light-colored sedan as a key part of the investigation.

The vehicle is believed to be connected to the shooting, and police are actively searching for any leads to track down the suspects.

Amazura, known for its expansive interior that can hold up to 4,000 people, is a popular venue in the area.

It regularly hosts live performances and DJ events, making it a prime destination for nightlife in Queens.
