Several prominent physicians now believe Joe Biden’s recent diagnosis of metastatic prostate cancer likely traces back to his time in the White House—raising renewed concerns about transparency, health disclosures, and the role of senior staff during his final years in office.
Biden’s personal office confirmed on Sunday that the former president has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
The announcement came just four months after he left office in January 2025 and follows a wave of public scrutiny over his mental fitness during the latter part of his term.

Medical experts across the country have publicly stated that Biden’s diagnosis likely did not develop in a short period of time.
Many suggest the condition may have progressed silently throughout his presidency, without public acknowledgment or visible disclosure from the administration.
Dr. Howard Forman, a professor at Yale School of Medicine, said on X, “It is inconceivable that this was not being followed before he left the Presidency.”
He noted that Biden’s prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels would have signaled abnormalities years earlier. “This is odd,” Forman added.
It is inconceivable that this was not being followed before he left the Presidency. Gleason grade 9 would have had an elevated PSA level for some time before this diagnosis. And he must have had a PSA test numerous times before. This is odd.

Dr. Steven Quay, a medical researcher and biotech CEO, posted, “For even with the most aggressive form, it is a 5–7 year journey without treatment before it becomes metastatic. It would be malpractice for this patient to show up and be first diagnosed with metastatic disease in May 2025.”
Quay concluded, “It is highly likely he was carrying a diagnosis of prostate cancer throughout his White House tenure and the American people were uninformed.”
Prostate cancer is the easiest cancer to diagnose when it first starts and to watch it progress to bone metastases. The PSA blood test shows the rate of cancer cell growth. For even with the most aggressive form, it is a 5-7 year journey without treatment before it becomes…

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, a former White House advisor and brother of former Obama chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, echoed those sentiments in an interview on MSNBC, saying, “He did not develop it in the last 100, 200 days. He had it while he was president. He probably had it at the start of his presidency in 2021.”
🚨 HOLY SMOKES! Dr. Zeke Emanuel just went on MSNBC and told Morning Joe that Biden DEFINITELY had cancer during his presidency – IN 2021!
In other words – IT WAS HIDDEN. Scarborough is SHOCKED.

Biden’s medical condition is now being viewed alongside mounting evidence that the administration may have downplayed concerns about his cognitive decline.
The release of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s recorded interview with Biden, conducted during the classified documents investigation, showed the former president forgetting dates, names, and occasionally slurring his words.
The Hur report, submitted to Attorney General Merrick Garland in February 2024, cited Biden’s apparent cognitive limitations as a key factor in the decision not to bring charges.
“Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury… as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” Hur wrote.
Public confidence in Biden’s health and leadership declined sharply during the final year of his presidency.
According to a January 2025 poll from the Napolitan News Service, 60% of registered voters believed there was a coordinated effort to conceal his mental and physical decline.
Just 31% believed Biden was “fully in charge” during his last year in office.
The cover-up allegations have also prompted legislative interest. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer announced last week that the committee would investigate Biden’s use of the autopen to sign executive orders and pardons in his final months in office.
“We have to determine whether the president was mentally capable of authorizing these actions, or if unelected staffers were acting on his behalf,” Comer said.
Biden’s debate performance during the 2024 campaign, which was widely seen as a turning point, contributed to his decision to withdraw from the race.
Since then, previously loyal allies have begun to speak out. A new book by Axios reporter Alex Thompson and CNN anchor Jake Tapper, Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again, is set for release Tuesday and is already generating headlines.
An excerpt from the book recounts a June 2024 fundraiser where Biden reportedly failed to recognize longtime friend and donor George Clooney.
The event took place just weeks before the presidential debate. Clooney later wrote in The New York Times, “The Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fundraiser was not the Joe ‘big F**king deal’ Biden of 2010. He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate.”
As media outlets and former allies begin to confront what many say was suppressed for years, questions are growing over how much the public was told—and when.
