Federal authorities confirmed that a passenger on an American Airlines flight bound for Las Vegas was restrained with duct tape and zip ties after attacking a flight attendant and unleashing a profanity-laced tirade in which she admitted to a disturbing past attempt to poison her father.

The incident occurred on September 16 during a connecting flight departing Charlotte, North Carolina, as 34-year-old Ketty J. Dilone was returning from the Dominican Republic, according to the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Nevada.

Witnesses said Dilone became disruptive shortly after takeoff, yelling and walking through the cabin while making verbal threats to several flight attendants.

Flight staff attempted to calm her, but her behavior escalated, forcing them to restrain her with duct tape and zip ties for the safety of passengers and crew.

Authorities reported that while restrained, Dilone kicked a flight attendant, causing the crew member to fall.

The confrontation was partially captured on video and later circulated widely on TikTok, showing Dilone screaming obscenities at airline staff.

“You don’t know what the f**k I’ve been through, bitch!” she yelled at one point.

“Kill yourself, bitch! You wanna die, bitch?”

In a shocking admission, Dilone told passengers she had once tried to poison her father when she was 11 years old.

She claimed she laced his coffee with “roach poison” in an attempt to kill him.

“It didn’t work,” she said, explaining that in the Dominican Republic, the substance is called “Tres Pasitos.”

According to the Environmental Protection Agency, Tres Pasitos—Spanish for “three little steps”—is a highly toxic pesticide designed to kill rodents and cockroaches. It is banned for use in the United States.

Passengers reported that Dilone’s behavior shifted briefly as she began singing a Spanish-language song with the same name.

However, she quickly returned to shouting. “So if anybody wants to kill somebody, put roach poison! But make sure it’s not expired, and make sure you put a lot of it!” she declared, adding that her father had only been put to sleep by the attempt.

The outbursts continued with Dilone yelling, “The show’s f**king over,” followed by incoherent remarks before the video ended.

Many passengers could be seen attempting to ignore her as the situation unfolded.

Upon landing at Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport, FBI agents boarded the plane and placed Dilone under arrest.

She was transported to the Henderson Detention Center, where she was booked on federal charges.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office announced that Dilone has been charged with one count of interference with a flight crew and one count of assault by striking, beating, or wounding.

She made her first court appearance in Las Vegas on September 18.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 1. If convicted on the charges, Dilone faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison.

No further injuries to passengers were reported, and authorities have not released additional information regarding Dilone’s past criminal history or mental health.

The incident remains under investigation by federal authorities in coordination with airline security officials.
