Passengers aboard a Frontier Airlines flight from Denver to Houston took matters into their own hands Tuesday night after a man became aggressive mid-flight, punching a seat and cracking a window before being restrained.
The incident occurred about 20 minutes into the flight when the unidentified man allegedly began punching the seat in front of him.
The woman seated there, visibly shaken, requested a flight attendant relocate her, according to passenger Victoria Clark, who later spoke with KHOU.

After the woman was moved, the man’s behavior escalated as he began kicking at the window, eventually cracking the interior Plexiglas panel.
Despite the damage, the airline confirmed that the structural integrity of the window remained intact and did not pose a risk to the aircraft.
Passengers near the man, fearing for their safety, moved away from their seats to avoid the disturbance.
Clark, who was traveling with her three-year-old child, said the flight crew was not immediately visible when the situation unfolded.
“The flight attendants, they just disappeared — they went to go ask for help but I don’t know where they went at the time,” Clark told KHOU.
“It’s just me and this man and I start freaking out, having a panic attack. Tears, I start screaming for help, ‘Somebody come help us, I’m scared.’”
As the commotion continued, several passengers, including Clark’s fiancé, stepped in to subdue the man.
Video footage recorded by Clark captured a group of six travelers working together to restrain him using shoelaces and flex cuffs.

The man remained restrained for the remainder of the flight, which lasted about another hour and a half before landing at George Bush Intercontinental Airport at approximately 11:10 p.m.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officers boarded the aircraft and detained the passenger, who was later seen in a wheelchair being rolled through the airport, still restrained, in footage obtained by KHOU.
Authorities have not yet released the man’s identity or any information regarding a possible motive for the outburst.
Frontier Airlines has not pressed charges against the passenger, but the FBI has taken over the investigation, according to reports.
