According to authorities, Sabo’s home surveillance system detected movement near his family’s garage. Believing someone was attempting to break into a utility trailer, Sabo grabbed a firearm and went outside.

Without any verbal warning or confrontation, he fired a single shot at the delivery driver, South Abington Police Chief Paul Wolfe explained.

The delivery driver, accompanied by his wife and child waiting in the car nearby, managed to flee the scene and call for help. He was later transported to a hospital, underwent surgery, and is now in stable condition.
