A panel discussion on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” turned into an on-air spectacle Monday night after podcast host Vinny Oshana used before-and-after images of several celebrities to poke fun at what he called “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” prompting laughter from host Piers Morgan and several guests.
The term “Trump Derangement Syndrome” has been widely used by supporters of President Donald Trump to describe extreme or irrational reactions to him, especially from political commentators and celebrities.
The segment escalated during a conversation between radio host Brian Shapiro and Daily Wire contributor Michael Knowles, who were debating a recent claim made by actress Rosie O’Donnell.
Elon Musk Called This Financial News ‘Terrifying’
O’Donnell had suggested that billionaire Elon Musk may have influenced the 2024 election in Trump’s favor.
During the exchange, Oshana responded by showing printed photos of celebrities before and after Trump’s presidency, pointing to them as visual examples of the alleged psychological toll of opposition to Trump.
“This is Rosie O’Donnell before Trump, right? Nice, good. Look what happens, Piers, with Trump Derangement Syndrome, alright?” Oshana said while holding up a photo.
“Rachel Maddow! Look at how hot Rachel Maddow was. Then look, Trump Derangement Syndrome. She looks like Stephen Colbert.”

Oshana then turned to comedian Kathy Griffin: “Then look, Kathy Griffin, someone that I might have hooked up with if I was drunk. They turned her into Carrot Top, OK? That’s what it does to you people, OK? You guys have lost your freaking mind.”
The panel, which included Morgan, Knowles, and another guest, erupted into laughter as Oshana delivered the remarks.
Shapiro attempted to interject but was cut off by Oshana, who said, “I’m not finished.”
O’Donnell recently posted a TikTok video on March 11, announcing her decision to relocate from the United States to Ireland with her daughter, citing the political climate in the U.S. as a factor.
In response, Oshana referenced O’Donnell’s past political commentary and called out perceived double standards in her criticism of Trump.
“Piers, in that interview, she’s like, ‘I can’t believe, you know, the sexual assault, because when Conor McGregor came there,’ she supported Bill Clinton. How many sexual assault, rape allegations? Biden did the same thing. Biden sniffing kids live on camera all the time,” Oshana said.
“His freaking daughter writes in her diary that her father showered with her at inappropriate ages,” he continued, referring to allegations contained in a diary attributed to Ashley Biden.
O’Donnell has been a vocal critic of President Trump since his first term, and in 2017, posted a screenshot of a Trump tweet with the words “child rapist” written over it. She has also publicly accused Trump of rape.
Joe Biden has faced multiple allegations of inappropriate behavior.
During the 2020 campaign, several women came forward with complaints about unwanted physical contact.
Tara Reade, a former Senate aide, accused Biden of sexually assaulting her in 1993 while she worked in his Senate office.
Addressing O’Donnell’s decision to move to Ireland, Oshana commented on current issues in that country.
“She left to freaking Ireland. Do you know what’s happening in Ireland, Rosie? Freedom of speech, migration, all the freaking rise in crime. It’s unbelievable,” he said.
“Here’s my thing, Piers. There’s people waiting in line and fighting and dying to come to this country,” he added.
“She wants to leave. To hell with her. Let her give up her spot for somebody else. I have family members that are waiting to come here, Piers. Let them come in and to hell with her.”
President Trump briefly addressed the topic during a March 12 meeting with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin.
When asked about O’Donnell’s decision to move to Ireland, Trump responded, “better off not knowing” who she is.
