Pop star Pink is facing heavy backlash online after allegedly mocking the funeral of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
The singer seemingly suggested in a now-deleted Instagram post that “Pop Goes the Weasel” should be played at Kirk’s service, according to screenshots circulating on social media. The singer alleged comments were deemed disrespectful and cruel, quickly igniting a firestorm across platforms X and Instagram.

Pink’s alleged post included the caption “Funeral idea #2” followed by the words, “At the end of the service the organist plays “pop goes the weasel” over and over and overrrrr while everyone stares at the coffin in silent, horrified anticipation.”
Users accused Pink of making light of a tragedy and showing insensitivity toward Kirk’s grieving family and supporters.
“[Pink] you are a sick and disgusting excuse for a human being,” one internet user wrote on X. “I pity your children that they have you as a parent. I pray no one you love is ever murdered and no one mocks them as you have Charlie Kirk. Shame on you.”

“The Internet seen the posts you shared. Shame on you,” someone wrote on Instagram, while another said she should apologize to Kirk’s family.
Others turned their back on the star, with one social media user writing, “I’m ashamed you’re [sic] from my city.” (RELATED: TMZ Apologizes For ‘Tone Deaf Laughter’ Amid Charlie Kirk Assassination Coverage)
