Plane Crashes into Home in Minnesota, Erupts into Flames [WATCH]

A small plane crashed into a home in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, on Saturday afternoon, sparking a dramatic scene as flames engulfed the residence.

The incident occurred just before 12:30 p.m. when a SOCATA TBM7 aircraft went down in a residential area near Minneapolis.

The plane had departed from Des Moines International Airport in Iowa and was en route to Anoka County-Blaine Airport in Minneapolis at the time of the crash, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

A spokesperson for the FAA confirmed the crash and stated that investigations are ongoing.

“We do not yet know how many people were on board,” the FAA spokesperson said.

The FAA, along with the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), is actively investigating the cause of the crash.

Despite the dramatic scene, officials confirmed that no one inside the home was injured.

First responders quickly arrived at the scene and are working to evacuate the surrounding area to ensure public safety.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz expressed his support for the first responders involved in the crisis.

On social media, he wrote, “My team is in touch with local officials on the scene in Brooklyn Park and we are monitoring the situation closely. Grateful to the first responders answering the call.”

The NTSB, which is investigating the crash, confirmed they are working closely with the FAA and local authorities to gather information.

An NTSB spokesperson shared an update with Fox News Digital, stating, “NTSB investigators are en route to the scene and are expected to arrive tomorrow. Once on site, the investigators will begin the process of documenting the scene and examining the aircraft. The aircraft will then be recovered to a secure facility for further evaluation.”

As of now, the investigation into the cause of the crash continues, and both the FAA and NTSB are committed to uncovering the facts surrounding the accident.
