Police arrested a man in Florida for allegedly threatening to kill President Donald Trump with a nuclear bomb during a recorded 9-1-1 call.
Loxahatchee, Florida, resident Justin Blaxton made the 9-1-1 call Feb. 26, introduced himself as “Justin Blaze,” and stated multiple times that he intended to kill the president, according to authorities.
Blaxton claimed he was a revenge-seeking Confederate soldier who had hacked into the missile silos and was about to launch bombs to destroy New York, according to a probable cause affidavit filed by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO).
“My missiles are attracted to Donald Trump’s towers,” he allegedly added.
PBSO’s affidavit also claims Blaxton said he wanted a ride to the airport so he could assassinate Trump at the White House. In another statement, Blaxton is alleged to have said, “I want Donald Trump at my house. Tomorrow is his last day on earth.”

Blaxton also allegedly made other threats, including “burning some houses down.”
“I’m a mass murderer come and get me,” he proclaimed, according to authorities. Blaxton has been charged with threatening to discharge a destructive device, making a false report of a bomb or explosion, and making a false 911 call. His bond has been set at $35,000. Blaxton made his first court appearance for these charges Wednesday, according to CBS 12 News. Blaxton has an “extensive history of mental illness,” according to the probable cause affidavit. On March 2, PBSO filed a Petition for Temporary Ex Parte Risk Protection Order against Blaxton, which was granted a day later.
John Russell, a former U.S. Secret Service agent interviewed by CBS 12 News, said mental illness was likely. He called Blaxton’s phone calls “probably the idle rant of somebody who’s mentally deranged.”
This is not Blaxton’s first brush with the law. A PBSO booking document from June 2024 shows that he was previously arrested on one count of larceny, one count of battery, and one count of resisting an officer.
