Authorities arrested a Texas man Tuesday after he allegedly scaled a wall around President Donald Trump’s Florida resort, according to court records obtained by the Daily Caller.
An arrest report claimed the Palm Beach Police Department (PBPD) took 23-year-old Anthony Reyes into custody for alleged trespassing soon after midnight.
The Secret Service claimed Reyes told them “he had jumped over the wall to get into property,” according to documents.
Reyes allegedly told police he climbed the property’s wall to “spread the Gospel to [Trump] and marry Kai” — referring to Trump’s 18-year-old granddaughter and daughter of Donald Trump Jr., Kai Trump.
The Secret Service detained Reyes after he allegedly “scaled a perimeter fence and triggered alarms,” an agency spokesperson reportedly told NBC News in a statement.
“No Secret Service protectees were present at the time of this incident,” the spokesperson noted, according to the outlet.
Police booked Reyes at the Palm Beach County Jail and set his bond at $50,000, and he was ordered to have no contact with Trump or any of his family members, according to court records.
The no-contact order includes Kai Trump.
Reyes pleaded not guilty, according to NBC.
