President Donald Trump paid tribute to Scott Adams during a Celebration of Life, remembering him as a singular figure whose intellect, originality, and character left a lasting mark on the nation and on Trump personally.

“The world lost a great one this month, when we lost Scott Adams,” Trump said.

“There was nobody like him, but heaven gained a good heart, a brilliant mind, got a very brave soul. That’s the big gain for heaven.”

Trump described Adams as an original thinker whose humor, insight, and humanity resonated with millions.

He credited Adams with helping people see the world in new ways and said his influence extended far beyond his work.

“Scott was one of a kind, among the most interesting and original people and thinkers of our time,” Trump said.

“His wit, humor, talent, kindness, and insights on life endeared him to millions and millions of people, and taught, as many fans, readers, and listeners, how to look at the world in a very different way.”

Trump said Adams recognized his political trajectory early and stood by him from the outset, offering steadfast loyalty and support when few others did.

“He was a very different guy, but brilliant,” Trump said.

“I will never forget that Scott was with me from the very beginning, right at the very beginning, he knew what was happening. He got it, and he was a loyal and true friend to all of us until the very end.”

Recalling their personal relationship, Trump said he reached out to Adams after learning of his illness and was struck by Adams’ courage and optimism despite the challenges he faced.

“After I heard Scott was sick, I called him up and asked him if there was anything at all I could do to help,” Trump said.

“And as I was reminded then, Scott was a courageous and relentlessly positive guy.”

Trump said Adams faced his illness with strength, creativity, and grace, continuing to express his talent even during his final months.

“Over these past few months, he endured pain and faced death with extraordinary spirit and grace and talent,” Trump said.

“Because he was in there pitching his talent would always come through, no matter how sick he was.”

Trump closed his remarks by expressing gratitude for Adams’ friendship, influence, and contributions, saying his legacy will not be forgotten.

“Scott, we love you, we miss you, and we will never, ever forget you,” Trump said.

“Thank you for everything and everything you’ve done for me and God bless the United States of America, which loves you so much. Thank you very much, Scott.”
