Pro-Mutilation Trans Attorney Smacked Down By Supreme Court

There’s a small but strident contingent of American adults who are very invested in child castration. The Supreme Court just put one more roadblock in their way.

In a 6-3 ruling, the Supreme Court upheld a Tennessee law prohibiting “sex transition treatments” for minors, more precisely described as “elective mutilations for children.” Justices Ketanji Brown Jackson, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan dissented from the majority opinion.

No one is more disappointed, I’m sure, than Chase Strangio, a staff attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). Strangio appeared before the Supreme Court to argue against the ban. “There will be more to say soon but let me say that No Court ruling will deter our fight,” Strangio posted on Instagram. “The Court got it wrong but they left open many avenues – both doctrinal and extra-legal – for us to fight. And regardless of what they say, we map the contours of our future.”

The contours of Strangio’s past aren’t pretty. Just watch her defend medical “transitions” for minors.

“These are young people who may have known since they were two-years old exactly who they are,” Strangio told CNN’s Jake Tapper. “Who suffered for six, seven years before they had any relief.” In what other instance are parents beholden to the whims of their toddlers? If a toddler implores their mother for a margarita, is the mother to comply? 

Strangio’s voice deserves comment. If you close your eyes, it’s clear that the warbling issuing from her mouth is that of a woman. This isn’t to criticize her presentation for the sake of it. Strangio is advocating for the impossible. Her voice is just one proof of that. 

Strangio claimed boys who identify as girls are not “males,” “biological males,” or “male-bodies.” 

“Just stop,” he wrote in a 2020 social media post. “A girl has a female body. A girl is biologically female.”

Each public appearance Strangio makes reiterates the point that, no matter how many alterations to her appearance she makes, she will never be a man. (RELATED: Reverse Discrimination Case Another Nail In The Coffin For DEI)

Strangio should be congratulated for her (unintentional) aid in this Supreme Court decision. Justice Samuel Alito presented Strangio with the claim that “there is no evidence that gender-affirmative treatments reduce suicide.” Strangio agreed – in part. 

“What I think that is referring to is there is no evidence in some — in the studies that this treatment reduces completed suicide,” she said. “And the reason for that is completed suicide, thankfully and admittedly, is rare and we’re talking about a very small population of individuals with studies that don’t necessarily have completed suicides within them.” Whoops. That reasoning would seem to call into question much evidence in favor of “affirming” gender confusion, too.

Strangio was at times reluctant to define transgenderism as “immutable.”

“Is transgender status immutable?” Alito questioned. 

“It is a distinguishing characteristic,” Strangio replied. 

Justice Amy Coney Barrett seized on this point in her concurrence. “The Sixth Circuit held that transgender individuals do not constitute a suspect, and it was right to do so,” she wrote. “To begin, transgender status is not marked by the same sort of ‘obvious, immutable, or distinguishing characteristics’ as race or sex … the plaintiffs acknowledge that some transgender individuals ‘detransition’ later in life – in other words, they begin to identify again with the gender that corresponds to their biological sex.” Just imagine the copes Strangio is currently cooking up.
