Conservative commentator Tomi Lahren said Democrats are facing political consequences as public attention grows around alleged voter and welfare fraud involving Somali immigrants, arguing that party leaders are now stuck between alienating key voting blocs and angering American taxpayers.
In remarks addressing what she described as widespread fraud schemes, Lahren said the issue has moved beyond partisan politics because the public broadly opposes being defrauded, regardless of ideology.
“I want to break down for you why Democrats have really effed themselves with this Somali fraud situation,” Lahren said.
“It’s not just because of the fraud. They don’t really care about that. The problem is this, now that the American people notice the fraud, left right center, nobody likes to be ripped off.”
Lahren pointed to reports of fake daycare centers and other alleged schemes as a turning point in public awareness.
“Even if you do love the Third World, you love all the refugees, you probably don’t like them setting up fake daycares and leering centers,” she said. “That’s going to piss about anybody off, right?”
According to Lahren, that backlash has placed Democratic leaders in a difficult position, particularly governors in states where such allegations have surfaced.

She singled out Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, whom she referred to as “Timmy Walz,” as an example.
“So this is how Democrats got themselves into a tough spot, and Timmy Walz is the first to go,” Lahren said.
“All right, so Timmy Walz won’t resign, because if he resigns, then other Democrat governors that have presided over this kind of fraud would also be pressured to resign, and they don’t want to do that.”
Lahren said the dilemma extends beyond a single state and reflects broader political calculations within the Democratic Party.
“Democrats, just in general, have put themselves in a tough spot, especially Democrat governors that have imported a lot of their voters,” she said.
“Because if they crack down on the fraud, they’re gonna piss off their third world voters, but if they don’t crack down on the fraud, they’re gonna piss off the Americans, you know, the ones that are footing the bill.”
She described the situation as unavoidable for Democratic officials and said the party is now facing the consequences of its own policies.
“So Democrats have gotten themselves between a rock and a hard place,” Lahren said.
“And you know what? It couldn’t happen to a better group of people. Best of luck with that. You mess with America, eventually you’re going to get caught.”
