Her reported relocation from a federal prison in Tallahassee, Florida, came about a week after she was interviewed by a top Justice Department (DOJ) official about the Epstein case.
Maxwell was sent to a federal prison camp in Bryan, Texas, a Bureau of Prisons (BOP) spokesman told the outlet. Her lawyer, David Oscar Markus, confirmed the move to the New York Sun.
She was reportedly temporarily held at FCI Oakdale in Louisiana before being transferred to Texas.
“She is not staying in Oakdale,” a source told the outlet. “It was a brief stopover. Officials from Texas were expected to take custody of her shortly after the handoff, and she is being moved again to an undisclosed location.”
