Robert F. Kennedy Jr. didn’t hold back when Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR) tried to smear his record during a heated Senate Finance Committee hearing.
Testifying as President Trump’s pick for Secretary of Health and Human Services, RFK Jr. faced a barrage of dishonest attacks but dismantled Wyden’s accusations with cold, hard facts.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, RFK Jr., along with Kash Patel and Tulsi Gabbard, is appearing before the Senate this week for confirmation hearings.

Patel’s nomination for FBI Director and RFK Jr.’s potential role in reshaping America’s health policies have already sent the left into a frenzy. Wyden, however, took things to another level, launching a desperate attempt at character assassination.
From the outset, Wyden painted RFK Jr. as a conspiracy theorist, falsely claiming he had a history of promoting “quacks” and discouraging parents from vaccinating their children.
“Mr. Kennedy has embraced conspiracy theories, quacks, charlatans, especially when it comes to the safety and efficacy of vaccines. He has made it his life’s work to sow doubt and discourage parents from getting their kids life-saving vaccines.”
He went even further, accusing Kennedy of chasing “money and influence” at the expense of children’s lives.
RFK Jr. wasn’t having any of it. He immediately fired back, exposing Wyden’s distortions.
“Senator, as you know, because it’s been repeatedly debunked, that statement I made on the Lex Fridman Podcast was a fragment of the statement. He asked me are there were vaccines that were safe and effective, and I said to him some of the live virus vaccines are. And I said there were no vaccines that were safe and effective for every person.”

RFK Jr. just completely dismantled Senator Ron Wyden’s DISHONEST opening line of questioning:

Kennedy explained that every medicine—vaccines included—can affect people differently, a fact that’s widely understood in the medical field. Yet Wyden, uninterested in facts, tried to cut him off.
“I’ve corrected it MANY TIMES, including on national TV,” RFK Jr. added. “You know about this, Senator Wyden, so bringing this up right now is dishonest.”
Wyden then tried another angle, bringing up a letter RFK Jr. wrote to the FDA, accusing him of trying to block Americans from accessing the COVID vaccine. But once again, Kennedy was ready.
“The CDC recommended COVID vaccines without any scientific basis for six-year-old children,” he said. “COVID vaccines are inappropriate for six-year-old children who basically have zero risk from COVID. That’s why I brought that lawsuit.”
Wyden’s attacks were already falling apart, but things got worse for him when a protester interrupted the hearing. Once order was restored, Wyden attempted yet another smear—this time claiming RFK Jr. was responsible for measles deaths in Samoa by spreading misinformation about the vaccine.
Again, Kennedy quickly corrected the record.
“I went there to introduce a medical informatics system,” he explained. “I would digitalize records in Samoa and make health delivery much more efficient.”
RFK Jr. debunks Sen. Wyden’s narrative that RFK Jr was responsible for 83 people dying from measles in Samoa:
“I had nothing to do with the measles… Tissues samples sent to new Zealand, most of those people did not have measles. We don’t know what was killing them.” pic.twitter.com/UdJ9fOLADd

As for the measles deaths Wyden referenced? Kennedy pointed out that when tissue samples were sent to New Zealand for testing, most of those who had allegedly died from measles didn’t even have the virus.
Wyden’s entire strategy relied on throwing out false accusations, but RFK Jr. shot down every single one.
Meanwhile, an advocacy group founded by former Vice President Mike Pence, Advancing American Freedom, has launched a six-figure ad campaign opposing RFK Jr.’s nomination.
The digital ads, running in Washington, D.C., aim to undermine his confirmation as Secretary of Health and Human Services.

Rather than addressing real issues, the left once again tried to demonize someone willing to challenge the system.
The Democrat senator left the hearing embarrassed, while RFK Jr. emerged unshaken, proving he won’t be intimidated by political hit jobs.
