A violent road rage incident on a Beaverton highway left a 21-year-old motorcyclist hospitalized and a minivan driver facing multiple criminal charges after dashcam footage captured a high-speed collision on Monday, as reported by TMZ.
The incident began as a verbal exchange between a motorcyclist and the driver of a silver Kia Carnival. According to police, the confrontation escalated when the motorcyclist was seen gesturing and yelling at the driver while both were traveling at highway speeds.
In the dashcam video, the driver of the minivan suddenly swerved across multiple lanes and sideswiped the motorcycle, knocking the rider off his bike.

The impact sent the motorcyclist skidding across the highway and onto the shoulder as nearby drivers stopped to assist. The Kia did not stop and fled the scene at high speed.

Emergency responders transported the injured rider to a local hospital. According to a report by KGW-TV, the man’s injuries included trauma caused by his motorcycle’s gear shift piercing through his steel-toed boot.
He has since been released from the hospital. His sister told reporters that while he is in stable condition, the incident was traumatic for the family.
After receiving a tip from the public, police identified the driver as 35-year-old Samir Pazzoto-Filho. He was taken into custody and is now facing several charges, including second-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, and failure to perform duties of a driver to injured persons.
The Beaverton Police Department confirmed the arrest in a statement and emphasized that the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities praised witnesses who stopped to render aid and those who provided information that led to the suspect’s arrest.
