Comedian Rob Schneider is launching a new conservative talk show aimed at providing an alternative to ABC’s long-running program “The View.”
In an interview with Fox News, Schneider revealed plans for the program, which he described as “entertaining” and the “opposite” of the liberal daytime talk show.
The show, which is slated to debut before Inauguration Day, will feature well-known female hosts and a format that avoids the divisive tone often associated with its counterpart.

Schneider emphasized the focus would be on creating an engaging experience rather than “shaming people and making people wince.”
Schneider’s announcement comes as “The View” faces declining viewership and mounting criticism for its frequent anti-Trump rhetoric.

The program has issued multiple legal corrections in recent months, further straining its credibility.
Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly recently predicted a potential shakeup for “The View,” citing reports that Disney may soon take control of the show.
Speaking on his podcast, O’Reilly criticized the current direction of the program, comparing it unfavorably to its earlier years under founding host Barbara Walters.
“The show has become more extreme,” O’Reilly stated, attributing its tone to what he called a “New York City emotion bubble.”
He pointed specifically to long-time hosts Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg, accusing them of reinforcing a narrow, self-reinforcing worldview.
“The View” has seen its fair share of contentious moments in recent weeks.
Radio personality Charlamagne tha God clashed with the panel during a discussion about Joe Biden’s pardon of his son, Hunter.
“They’re [Democrats] the ones that go out there, and they stand on this moral high ground.,” Charlamagne argued, sparking a heated debate with the hosts.

Adding to the show’s recent controversies, Sen. John Fetterman appeared on “The View” and openly criticized its approach to recent legal actions involving former President Donald Trump.
“I also think it’s true that the trial in New York for Trump, that was politically motivated too,” Fetterman said, addressing Behar’s questions about Hunter Biden’s legal troubles.
Fetterman went on to advocate for pardons in both cases, stating, “In both cases, I think a pardon is appropriate.”
He further criticized the portrayal of Trump as a “convicted felon” and suggested Democrats were shielding Hunter Biden from accountability.
Schneider’s new talk show seeks to provide a counterbalance to what many conservatives view as the partisan leanings of “The View.”
Promising to focus on entertainment rather than political polarization, Schneider’s project could reshape daytime television by attracting an audience eager for fresh perspectives.
The show is expected to announce its hosts in the coming weeks, with Schneider hinting at a lineup of “household names.”
For now, it remains to be seen whether this venture will gain traction and emerge as a true competitor in the crowded daytime talk show arena.
