ROOKE: Kamala Goes Full Cat Lady In Last-Minute Snub Of Usha Vance

Vice President Kamala Harris, affectionately known as “Momala” among her most ardent supporters, bitterly ignores the incoming vice president and his family.

Harris is reportedly not helping Usha Vance, the wife of Vice President-elect JD Vance, transition into the Naval Observatory residence, which the Vance family will call home for the next four years, according to CBS News.

Since the 1970s, all vice presidents have lived at the Naval Observatory, and the Vances, along with their three young children, will be no different. However, CBS reported that in November 2024, when Usha Vance attempted to contact Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, about baby-proofing concerns, “the questions were initially rebuffed. ”

Navy officials eventually gave the Vance family an overview of the house in December, and Usha Vance spoke with Emhoff for about 40 minutes last week. However, Harris has not spoken to the Vance family or their intermediaries.

Americans suffered through four years of Democrats bloviating about a peaceful transfer of power and how Republicans devastated our country’s political norms. Still, now it seems perfectly acceptable for a bruised ego to be the only reason for the current vice president to break those traditions. Sure, she’ll hide behind the chaos of the 2020 election as her excuse for ignoring Usha Vance despite reporting that former Vice President Mike Pence invited Harris and Emhoff to the Naval Observatory. Harris is acting like a bitter loser. She seems to be taking her rejection by American voters out on Usha Vance and her children, which seems out of character for the woman Democrats cast as the epitome of maternity and family values. Isn’t this the same woman who was making pancakes with her nieces when she learned she was crowned Queen of the Democrats and licked her election wounds by hosting a family game night?

It’s laughable how quickly these narratives attempting to make Harris seem nurturing fell apart the moment the campaign ended. But this is what happens when you fail upward, with your only qualification in life being your biological sex, making you merely a successful byproduct of the feminist revolution. When you are told your whole life that the parts of you that are inherently female, like making a house a home, caring for a family, or even being empathetic, are embarrassing traits to possess, the natural result is a Harris-type woman. In some way, I suppose it makes sense that Emhoff would make the call since he is the only one of the pair who has ever raised children and has some degree of knowledge of what it takes to “baby-proof” a home. Still, the entire situation looks like a pretty stereotypical left-wing “girlboss” relationship, with Emhoff playing the part of the emasculated, dutiful stay-at-home husband and Harris being the liberal childless wife with an overwhelming contempt for her peers. It’s easy to see her sitting in front of “Dougie,” explaining how she’s too important to call Vance’s wife to discuss preparing the Naval Observatory for the new occupants, so it must be him.

All joking aside, Harris had a chance to extend a pleasant courtesy to another woman but chose instead to ignore her. She could have quietly invited Usha Vance to lunch and shown her the home. The left doesn’t really mean it when they pontificate on the importance of supporting women. What they believe and consistently show in their actions is that their nurturance only extends to the women who subscribe to left-wing orthodoxy. And a mother to three young children who also happens to be the wife of a Republican is the antithesis of their canon, making her undeserving of compassion.
