ROOKE: Teenagers Are Standing Outside Of Polls Begging Adults To Rescue Them

It’s a sad day in this country when teenagers are forced to stand outside polling locations begging voters to save them from the left’s insanity.

Early voting has started in Virginia. As voters head to the polls, in some locations, high school students, who are most likely not old enough to vote yet, are making their voices heard on which candidates they want to win important Loudoun County school board races. Their top priority is safety from radical transgender ideology.

Students were seen handing out brochures and speaking with voters outside polling locations, advocating for candidates who opposed the transgender policy (Policy 8040) for the Loudoun County School District (LCSD). A total of four contested seats are at stake: Algonkian District, Broad Run District, Dulles District, and Sterling District.

Algonkian District LCSD school board candidates: Incumbent April Moore Chandler supports Policy 8040, which allows students to use the bathroom or locker room that coincides with their so-called gender identity rather than their biological sex. She is being challenged by Matt Malone, who opposes the policy by advocating for its repeal, citing concerns for safety and privacy.

Broad Run District candidates: Ross Svenson supports the transgender policy, even going as far as suing the state on behalf of transgender students. His opponent, Samuel Yan, opposes Policy 8040, arguing that facilities should be based on biological sex for safety and privacy. Yan also wants the policy repealed. Dulles District candidates: Jonathon Pepper’s stance on Policy 8040 is somewhat unclear. However, he doesn’t have an opposition statement available against the policy and did not respond to recent questionnaires on the issue. Santos Muñoz is more obvious. Muñoz has vocally opposed the transgender policy and is on record calling for its repeal.

Sterling District: Incumbent Arben Istrefi supports Policy 8040, telling reporters that school districts must protect so-called transgender rights. Amy Riccardi opposes the policy and advocates for its repeal to provide safe, biological sex-based facilities.

LCPS School Board members April Chandler & Arben Istrefi have FAILED to protect children’s private spaces from being invaded by the opposite sex as they REFUSE to END Policy 8040.

Students have had enough and are campaigning for new leadership.

In January, President Donald Trump signed an Executive Order titled “Ending Radical Indoctrination in K-12 Schooling,” which defined “social transition” to include the policies that allow students to use facilities like bathrooms or locker rooms opposite to their biological sex. It states that allowing males access to private spaces designated for females may contravene federal laws, including Title IX. Schools risk losing federal funding if they allow policies like LCSD’s to stay in place.

The election advocacy by LCSD students represents a critical moment in the ongoing national debate over transgender ideology, student safety, and privacy in public schools. American teenagers are handing out sample ballots, chanting slogans in support of specific school board candidates, and sharing personal stories about their discomfort with the district’s transgender-inclusive bathroom and locker room policies. Many of these students are girls under 18 and are in a vulnerable position, essentially begging for adults to intervene on their behalf. This is a crisis. Young people who are directly impacted by these far-left school policies but lack the legal power to influence them through the ballot box are forced to rely on persuasion and public pleas for protection. At its core, this is about protecting American youth who are old enough to experience the harms of these policies but too young to vote them away.
