A Walt Disney World cast member was injured Tuesday after a prop boulder veered off course and rolled toward the audience during a live stunt performance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida, according to videos and eyewitness accounts shared on social media.
The incident occurred during the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, a long-running attraction at the park that recreates action sequences from the 1981 film Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Video clips posted Tuesday to TikTok and Reddit show the prop boulder emerging rapidly from a cloud of smoke as part of the show’s planned stunt sequence.
In the footage, the boulder rolls down a rocky ledge before bouncing in an unexpected direction toward a section of the audience seated near the stage.
As the boulder moved toward spectators, a cast member ran into its path and was knocked to the ground while appearing to attempt to stop or absorb the impact of the prop.
The video shows the staff member falling as the boulder continued moving, prompting several audience members to jump up from their seats.
Additional cast members quickly ran toward the scene to stop the prop and assist the injured employee.

This Could Be the Most Important Video Gun Owners Watch All Year
Multiple perspectives of the incident were shared online by audience members who were present during the performance.
The videos show the suddenness of the incident and the rapid response by other staff members to halt the boulder and provide aid.
“The cast member was able to walk but was bleeding on the head,” one audience member wrote in a post shared on Reddit.
The exact extent of the cast member’s injuries has not been publicly confirmed.
According to social media posts and multiple reports, a similar incident involving the same attraction reportedly occurred last year.
In footage from that earlier incident, a cast member acting in the show was struck by the fast-moving prop boulder, which continued rolling and appeared to pass over him, sending other staff members rushing to his aid.
It remains unclear when that video was recorded or whether the circumstances were related.
The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular is a roughly 30-minute live show that demonstrates how action scenes and stunts are filmed for movies.
The performance features staged fight scenes, pyrotechnics, simulated explosions, and large moving props, including the boulder sequence inspired by one of the film’s most recognizable moments.
The show follows fictional archaeologist Indiana Jones and his companion Marion Ravenwood as performers re-create key scenes from Raiders of the Lost Ark, with cast members explaining stunt techniques and special effects used in filmmaking.
The attraction has been a fixture at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for decades and draws large crowds daily.
Tuesday’s incident occurred during an afternoon performance, according to individuals who shared videos online.
The performance was interrupted as staff members attended to the injured cast member and secured the prop boulder.
