Saudi Arabia: Forget What We Said Earlier, We’re ALL IN MORE

As Ed’s riveting coverage of the start of Epic Fury noted, Iran lashed out when Tomahawks and, for the first time, unmanned American attack drones started tearing up the landscapes and looking for bearded guys in robes.

The problem with their general blind swinging was that it was uncontrolled – they were just swinging, and that bat went wildly across the Middle East.

Iran has struck EIGHT countries in the past few hours:

– Israel
– Saudi Arabia
– Qatar
– UAE
– Bahrain
– Kuwait
– Iraq
– Jordan

Suddenly the activists who condemn Israel for hitting multiple countries at once are completely silent. pic.twitter.com/MtTElsi4nz

Most of those countries had very diplomatically declared themselves to be non-combatants in any conflict between Iran and the United States, especially if Israel was a partner in any action.

Even countries like Qatar, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia itself, which have been in tit for tat skirmishes in Yemen, with icy diplomatic relations for months.

Iran has stepped on some serious toes, as Ed pointed out.

…Iran may also have made a very large error in their response. The regime had declared that it would only attack US and Israeli sites in the event of an attack, but their ballistic missile systems do not have precision targeting systems. Their opening barrage hit at least seven nations in the region, and that has the Saudis fuming. They had refused to allow their airspace to be used in any attack on Iran, part of their recent non-aggression agreement with the mullahs. This morning, the Saudis flipped and declared themselves ready to assist in confronting Iran:

Iran’s strikes seem to have done good work in uniting the disparate Arab states from day one. They’re all on the same side, for now, even Qatar and the UAE. https://t.co/t5bZwf99Iq

The language was strong.

BREAKING: Saudi Arabia says Iran launched a “blatant and cowardly” attack on Riyadh and its eastern region that it repelled.

And called out the Iranians for striking ‘in spite of knowing’ the Saudis had told the Americans and Israel ‘no.’

#Statement | The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expresses its rejection and condemnation in the strongest terms of the blatant and cowardly Iranian attacks that targeted the Riyadh Region and the Eastern Province, which were successfully intercepted. These attacks cannot be justified… pic.twitter.com/ODRVf3p0Om

— Foreign Ministry 🇸🇦 (@KSAmofaEN) February 28, 2026

…These attacks cannot be justified under any pretext or in any way whatsoever, and they came despite the Iranian authorities’ knowledge that the Kingdom had affirmed it would not allow its airspace or territory to be used to target Iran.

Well, the Saudi’s have to be really pissed off, the more time they had to think about it, because that ‘We support kinetic action against our pain-in-the-ass neighbor,’ has become…

WHAT DO YOU NEED US TO DO, CUZ WE’RE LIKE TOTALLY IN

🚨 BREAKING: SAUDI ARABIA has now joined in on striking Iran after Iran attacked an American base within Saudi borders

Now THAT’S a FAFO moment right there! pic.twitter.com/REh7WSyMee

The Saudis want a piece and some payback, not just for themselves, but for their neighbors who took hits in their capitals this morning, our time.

If you remember, a few days ago, I noted they’d moved the fleet out of Bahrain – it had just ghosted the port?

This morning is why. They hit the empty warehouse.

My last job in uniform was at US 5th Fleet headquarters in Bahrain.

Difficult to watch a missile slamming into it and be safe in 🇦🇺

Thinking of friends and colleagues there. Some of the most dedicated professionals I’ve ever worked with. https://t.co/RjfDRKVvLd

This is why no one was in the neighborhood.

“In Bahrain we saw a missile land but I’m told there were no casualties and it hit an empty warehouse.”

President Trump and Secretary Hegseth have been preparing for this for weeks, if not months.

We have the most competent leaders running our military.

I trust in Trump! pic.twitter.com/BAupNA3Xj0

— Brigitte Gabriel (@ACTBrigitte) February 28, 2026

I believe it would have only taken one missile to give the Saudis the excuse to say, ‘Welp, now you’ve done it’ and break their diplomatic stance. Iran played right into their hands with this.

I don’t think there’s a single neighboring country they haven’t smoked something in.

Even though Syria is not a part of this current war, Iran doing today what it has done for years now: Killing Syrians. https://t.co/s7QC5yUEgB

It doesn’t sound like they had many friends left…

…and the few that they did?

“World War III”

It’s hard to have a “world war” when almost every other country is releasing statements in support of the United States.

Canada, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, France, EU etc.

Who’s fighting on behalf of the Islamic Republic in this imaginary world war?

— AG (@AGHamilton29) February 28, 2026

They burned those bridges this morning.

With the Saudis now taking an active part, the Iranian regime is toast.

Beege ADDS: As I mentioned above, the UAE and Saudis have been at each other’s throats for almost two years, and look what the Iranians have managed to do with their attacks – bring the two sides together against them.

Big news: The U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran and the Iranian retaliation against Gulf countries led to a phone call between Saudi and Emirati leaders despite unprecedented tensions between the countries https://t.co/T54Mmafdw3

— Barak Ravid (@BarakRavid) February 28, 2026

…The President receives a phone call from the Saudi Crown Prince, during which they discuss regional developments

Catastrophic miscalculation.
