Senate Democrats Come Down Solidly on the Side of Columbia’s Hamas Supporter and Other Khalil News

Democrats are going to be wandering in the wilderness fo-EH-vah at this rate.

There’s this fellow named Mahmoud Khalil, who has been a busy little guy on college campuses all over New York protesting about Palestine, marching for Hamas and against Israel in what might be termed an aggressive fashion, and acting as an intermediary between college administration and protesters when things get out of hand.

As John noted in his post earlier, Khalil is part Hamas propaganda machine, part agitator, part organizer, and always a victim, particularly when Columbia finally grew a pair and threatened to discipline him for the tent city the cretins had erected on campus. He’s a real professional at this stuff.

…Last summer, as pressure ramped up on Columbia to take more aggressive action against the group, a new disciplinary committee was formed which began looking more closely at the activity of students involved in CUAD. Khalil was one of those students.

Mahmoud Khalil, a graduate student who served as a negotiator for pro-Palestinian protesters during the previous spring’s encampment, said he was accused by the office of misconduct just weeks before his graduation this December. “I have around 13 allegations against me, most of them are social media posts that I had nothing to do with,” he said.

After refusing to sign the nondisclosure agreement, Khalil said the university put a hold on his transcript and threatened to block him from graduating. But when he appealed the decision through a lawyer, they eventually backed down, Khalil said.

“They just want to show Congress and right-wing politicians that they’re doing something, regardless of the stakes for students,” Khalil said. “It’s mainly an office to chill pro-Palestine speech.”

He seems nice and has such sweet friends from good families.

He’s also a green card holder, which is probably why he thought he could carry on with his Hamas-related intimidation activities and Jewish student harassment club meetings unimpeded.

Khalil was wrong. Take him away, boys.

ICE, ICE, BABY

Federal immigration authorities arrested a Palestinian activist Saturday who played a prominent role in Columbia University’s protests against Israel, a significant escalation in the Trump administration’s pledge to detain and deport student activists.

Mahmoud Khalil, a graduate student at Columbia until this past December, was inside his university-owned apartment Saturday night when several Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents entered and took him into custody, his attorney, Amy Greer, told The Associated Press.

Greer said she spoke by phone with one of the ICE agents during the arrest, who said they were acting on State Department orders to revoke Khalil’s student visa. Informed by the attorney that Khalil was in the United States as a permanent resident with a green card, the agent said they were revoking that instead, according to the lawyer.

A spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security, Tricia McLaughlin, confirmed Khalil’s arrest in a statement Sunday, describing it as being “in support of President Trump’s executive orders prohibiting anti-Semitism.”

Khalil’s friends are having a temper tantrum party today, something they advertised as an ‘Emergency Mobilization,’ like he was Martin Luther King being snatched up. I’m sure they’ll be as well-behaved as they ever are when they meltdown, and John has lots of videos on his post about it.

Khalil’s enablers are busy posting love notes to the terrorist sympathizer online. CAIR couldn’t wait to get a note off about the injustice of it all.

Now, they did scramble to get a judge to block the action, but they might have been a step or two behind ICE and the State Department. Progressives need to remember – the Trump team doesn’t waste time.

And frankly, if true, this is hilarious.

The best virtue-signaling tools wading into the fray on the side of a Jew-hating, Jewish student-intimidating, criminal vandalizing occupier, Hamas-supporting terrorist mouthpiece has to be the blustering august mushrooms of the Senate Democratic Judiciary crew.

Oh – like the one they just arrested who falls entirely within the parameters of the statute?

To paraphrase what Scott Jennings said, of course, Democrats would come down on the non-citizen, Hamas-loving terrorist supporter 20% side of the 80-20 divide.
