‘She Broke the Law’ is Trending on X (as the Left Freaks Out)

The left’s reaction to the arrest of Wisconsin Judge Hannah Dugan has resulted in exactly the kind of freakout I anticipated it would. This is being treated as the end of America by some Democrats.

Understand what this is: If Kash Patel and Donald Trump don’t like a judge, they think they can arrest them. This is stunning — we must stand up to this blatant power grab.

In case you missed the story earlier, Eduardo Flores Ruiz is an illegal immigrant who was deported back to Mexico in 2013. He then returned to the US without permission at some point, which is a felony. He was in court last week for charges of domestic violence for (allegedly) beating up a man and a woman. ICE went to arrest him at the courthouse and Judge Dugan tried to send the arrest team away and then led Ruiz and his attorney out a non-public door. The arrest team was able to follow him out of the building. When they confronted him he ran for it and they had to chase him down to arrest him. Judge Dugan was arrested by the FBI and faces two charges. The suggestion that she was arrested because Kash Patel and Donald Trump “don’t like” her is nonsense.

There’s lots and lots more of this but you get the idea. Everyone seems to be singing from the same hymnal today.

And, look, we don’t know where this case is headed. Maybe some judge will side with Judge Dugan out of professional courtesy or maybe she’ll actually be held accountable for what, on its face, looks like a crime. What we know for certain is that the Democrats freaking out about this don’t care about whether it was legal or illegal. They only care about attacking the president. As Glenn Greenwald said, this kind of overreach by his opponents is one of the best things Trump has going for him.

One of the biggest favors Dems always do for Trump is using the most extreme and alarmist rhetoric: leading to the Boy Who Cried Wolf syndrome.
