‘She’s the Dumbest Congresswoman Ever’: Tom Homan Slams AOC

Border Czar Tom Homan criticized Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) on Monday during an appearance on Newsmax, calling her out for advising illegal immigrants on how to evade arrest by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Speaking with host Rob Finnerty, Homan addressed Ocasio-Cortez’s recent comments regarding an ICE operation in Chicago.

Finnerty noted that the congresswoman had actively encouraged undocumented individuals to avoid ICE enforcement actions.

“She’s the dumbest Congresswoman ever who was let into Congress, and she proves that every day,” Homan said.

“And look, bottom line is I can’t believe any member of Congress, Republican, Democrat, independent, would want to educate criminal illegal aliens who are in the country illegally, been convicted of a violent crime and have been ordered removed by an immigration judge after due process at great taxpayer expense.”

Homan argued that Ocasio-Cortez’s actions could protect violent criminals who pose a direct threat to public safety.

He pointed out that ICE follows legal protocols established by Congress and is tasked with enforcing immigration laws.

“You got a congresswoman that does not want ICE to do the job that Congress has mandated them to do and funds them to do. She doesn’t want ICE to enforce the laws they enacted, and what the hell is Congress doing? They can spend their time doing better things, rather than writing laws they didn’t want us to enforce,” Homan said.

He reaffirmed that the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement prioritizes public safety threats and individuals deemed risks to national security.

“President Trump and me have been clear from day one. We’re concentrating on public safety threats and national security threats. She can call it ‘education and constitutional rights’ all she wants, but we all know what she’s doing,” Homan stated.

Ocasio-Cortez has actively provided guidance on how illegal immigrants can avoid ICE operations.

She hosted a live-streamed event on her Facebook page titled “Know Your Rights With ICE”, in which she outlined steps for undocumented immigrants to follow if confronted by federal authorities.

Additionally, her official congressional website includes detailed instructions on how to evade ICE, advising individuals to refuse entry, request departure, and remain silent when approached by immigration enforcement agents.

Homan sharply criticized her for enabling illegal immigrants, warning that her advice could have serious consequences.

“She’s out there telling people how to evade enforcement, how to evade ICE arrests, and, again, the most dangerous of the illegal aliens in the country, giving them heads up, and I’ll say it again. I hope she’s not educating the next murderer of a college nursing student or not educating the next illegal alien who’s gonna burn a woman alive on a subway,” Homan said.

Homan suggested that Ocasio-Cortez’s actions could eventually lead to legal or political repercussions.

He did not specify what consequences she might face, but he made it clear that he believes her efforts to shield illegal immigrants are undermining law enforcement.

As the Biden-era border crisis continues to be a focal point for the Trump administration, Homan remains a strong advocate for stricter enforcement.

His remarks highlight the ongoing debate over illegal immigration, public safety, and the role of elected officials in shaping policy.
