Speaking of St Scowly Pants, There’s Trouble Aboard the Gaza Good Ship LGBTQ-lypop

This is too hilarious to be true.

But apparently it is, and it couldn’t be more entertaining, wondering how it’s going to play out.

You know, the part where indulged, hedonistic, virtue-signaling, bubble-wrapped Westerners run straight into that ugly brick wall known as ‘third world cultures’ on their territory, not in the safe laboratory of a London or San Francisco street protest.

Their first big mistake of the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF), a multinational convoy of several dozen vessels seeking to breach Israel’s naval blockade of Gaza, was picking St Scowly Pants to lead the repeated watery charge into Gaza. She’s not exactly known for being the most stable character and she’s basically a media creation who flits from photo op to photo op, so it should come as no surprise that even the most hardened resistance boater got tired of her act.

A couple of days ago, the unthinkable, unsinkable happened. Notwithstanding a new, more mature Prince Valiant haircut instead of Heidi braids, Greta Thunberg was not voted off but was unanimously booted from the boat.

The vile little scowl monkey was seen forlornly dragging her suitcase as she walked the planks of a Tunisian dock to hitch a ride on a different boat, while gibbering about her ‘new’ role in the flotilla.

…The Jerusalem Post reports Thunberg, who joined a previous run at the Israeli naval blockade around Gaza in June, appeared on the Global Sumud Flotilla’s website as part of its leadership committee.

At least, that was until last Sunday.

…Il Manifesto, which has a correspondent aboard one of the flotilla vessels, reported on Tuesday Thunberg was seen dragging her suitcase along a Tunis dock to transfer from the Steering Committee flagship Family to another vessel, the Alma.

“We all have a role: mine will not be on the board, but as an organizer and participant,” Thunberg told the newspaper.

Things do get testy in close quarters. One minute you’re dancing on board for all the cameras and the next you’re bitching up a storm to them.

Small craft living isn’t for everyone, and shipmates should be carefully screened for compatibility.

Now, resistance fighting does make for unusual bunkmates, and you can’t always pick and choose beforehand who shows up on deck right before you shove off.

That’s kind of what’s causing the big, truly hilarious, culturally driven differences the once-happy little boat parade is dealing with – and badly – now.

I mean, who knew Muslims didn’t like gays?

Um…only everybody but someone who would wear a Queers for Palestine shirt and think that was real life.

It’s not on a boat headed for Gaza, either.

THEY’RE GETTING INTO A FIGHT OVER LGBTQ AND QUEER FELLOW TRAVELERS

I’d be lying if I said I felt sorry for them. What exactly did they think would happen? They’re lucky their ‘oppressed’ Muslim friends didn’t throw them into the sea for the sharks.

According to a recently resigned GSF coordinator, no one told them many of the people on board and participating were, like, homosexuals or even whatever.

He sounded pretty pissed about it.

Alleged “wokeness”, political activism and in particular LGBTQ activism has led to serious discontent.

Le Courrier de l’Atlas, a French-language monthly magazine and online outlet covering Maghreb affairs, reported on September 16 that local GSF co-ordinator Khaled Boujemâa announced his resignation in protest at the presence of LGBTQ activists in the flotilla, including Saif Ayadi, who identifies as a “queer activist”.

…“We were lied to about the identity of some participants in the vanguard of the flotilla, I accuse the organisers of having hidden this aspect from us,” he complained in two video streams on social media.

Other figures, including activist Mariem Meftah and presenter Samir Elwafi, condemned what they saw as an attempt to impose a cultural progressive agenda unrelated to the Palestinian cause, describing it as a “red line crossed” and an attack on “societal values”.

…Meftah accused the GSF organisers of betraying the trust of supporters who contributed resources for the flotilla’s mission. He called on others to correct what was described as a “serious mistake” against the Palestinian cause.

Also on Facebook the same day, Elwafi wrote: “Palestine is first and foremost the cause of Muslims, and it cannot be separated from its spiritual and religious dimension — with Jerusalem at the heart of its symbols and destiny.

“So why involve in it dubious activists serving other agendas that do not concern us and have nothing to do with Gaza, such as homosexuality!?

Worse for the flotilla, the actual Palestinians involved with this circus sideshow felt they and the Palestinian cause had been abused by the woke performers.

…“What do you expect an Arab Muslim to think when he hears the slogans of this ‘queer’ movement within a flotilla launched in the name of his most sacred and central cause, only to see it degraded in this way!?”

That complaint dovetails nicely with a report from about a week ago. Hello – they are ‘extremists’ and terrorists, who thought they’d use these woke idiots for propaganda effect and fundraising until they found out how woke they were.

…On September 17, Israeli-Swedish journalist David Stavrou, writing for Svenska Dagbladet, accused the flotilla organisation of including individuals linked to Hamas, Hezbollah and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), as well as people with extremist religious views, chauvinistic attitudes, anti-Semitic beliefs and other questionable affiliations.

Basically, a boatload of true deplorables.

And the realization that hanging with unapologetic gays wouldn’t earn them any points with the homies had these guys climbing over the side like lightning.

Meanwhile, they are intent on continuing to rumble with the Israelis, who have no intention of letting the clown parade through.

We were sorry to hear the response from the Hamas flotilla representative that the flotilla insists on pursuing a violent course of action and refuses our proposal to transfer, in a coordinated and peaceful manner, any aid that might be aboard the flotilla to the Gaza Strip via…

This response once again highlights the insincerity of the flotilla members and their mission to serve Hamas, rather than the people in Gaza.

If the flotilla continues to reject Israel’s peaceful proposal, Israel will take the necessary measures to prevent its entry into the combat zone and to stop any violation of a lawful naval blockade, while making every possible effort to ensure the safety of its passengers.

We reiterate: if your intentions are sincere, transfer any such aid to the Ashkelon Marina so it can be forwarded promptly to the Gaza Strip in a peaceful and non-violent manner.

At the rate the GSF is going, there won’t be anyone left on the boats in a week.

Wait them out.
