Street Interview Turns Violent as Pro-Abortion Protester Attacks Pro-Life Reporter [WATCH]

A 23-year-old pro-life reporter was assaulted during a street interview in Harlem on Thursday, leaving her bloodied and in need of stitches after being punched in the face by a woman she had been interviewing about abortion.

Savannah Craven Antao, a reporter with the advocacy group Live Action, was conducting a man-on-the-street-style interview about Planned Parenthood when the incident occurred. The altercation, which was captured on video and later circulated widely online, began as a verbal exchange but quickly turned violent.

“You don’t understand the magnitude of having a child,” the woman being interviewed told Craven Antao during the conversation.

Craven Antao responded, “I’m not the one who admitted they would be OK with killing babies in foster care and killing children that have been abused,” referencing previous remarks made by the interviewee.

Before Craven Antao could finish her point, the woman interrupted and struck her with multiple punches to the face.

After the assault, the attacker walked away while shouting, “Suck my d**k,” according to video footage of the incident.

Images shared on social media by Craven Antao showed a visible gash on her forehead and brow, with blood running down her face and chest. She later confirmed that she received medical treatment at a local hospital, including stitches for her injuries.

“I was just assaulted in Harlem interviewing people on the street. In cop car. Heading to hospital. Updates soon. ABORTION SUPPORTERS ARE VIOLENT!” Craven Antao wrote on Instagram, alongside a video of herself in the back of a police vehicle.

Her husband, Henry Antao, provided a statement to Live Action confirming the incident and described the suspect as aggressive and hostile after discovering his wife’s pro-life position.

“My wife… was assaulted by a pro-abortion woman we were interviewing,” he said. “The woman became aggressive and violent upon learning Savannah’s pro-life stance.”

According to Henry Antao, he called 911 following the incident and provided the New York Police Department with a description and photos of the woman who carried out the attack. As of Friday, the suspect had not been identified or taken into custody.

Footage from earlier in the interview shows the woman making statements including “f**k the police” and suggesting that killing a child is preferable to placing them in foster care.

Following the attack, Craven Antao posted an update on social media to thank her supporters and share that she was recovering.

“Bruised, but blessed,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

“I AM OKAY! I love you all thank you for the support,” she added in a separate post.

She also posted: “Thank you Will Cain Show & Fox news! CNN and MSNBC would never cover this. Props to you all.”

The NYPD has not released any additional information regarding the status of the investigation.
