A video circulating widely on social media shows a heated classroom confrontation at a Minnesota high school in which a teacher repeatedly yelled at a student, called him “unintelligent,” and shut down his attempts to respond during a discussion about immigration enforcement and the death of an anti-ICE protester, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.
The incident reportedly occurred at Becker High School in Becker, Minnesota, and involves social studies teacher Dr. Heather Abrahamson, who has taught in the district for 32 years and holds a Ph.D. in social studies curriculum.
The exchange centers on the death of Renee Good, 37, an anti-ICE protester who was shot and killed during an encounter involving a federal agent identified as Jonathan Ross.

Video of the classroom exchange was shared online by Libs of TikTok and shows Abrahamson accusing Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents of wrongdoing during a discussion with students.
In the footage, Abrahamson described ICE agents as “murderers” and claimed Ross used unjustified deadly force.

“His move should have been to go like this if he was really afraid,” Abrahamson said in the video, adding, “Your job as a police officer is to de-escalate.”
A male student attempted to respond by stating that the agent had only a split second to react during the encounter. Abrahamson repeatedly interrupted him.
“No, he had — no. I’m not going to argue with you,” she said.
The student replied, “You’re arguing right now.”
At that point, Abrahamson became visibly more agitated, raising her voice and gesturing near the student while stating that the agent “was not in danger.”
The student remained calm and responded with a line that has since been widely shared online: “Just because you’re yelling doesn’t mean you’re winning the argument.”
Moments later, Abrahamson escalated the exchange further.
“Yeah, just because you’re alive doesn’t mean you’re intelligent,” she said.
The student asked, “Did you just call me stupid?”
“Yeah,” Abrahamson replied.
Other students in the classroom could be heard reacting in disbelief. “You just gonna take that, man? She just called you stupid,” one student said as the clip ended.

Following the video’s circulation, Libs of TikTok published additional background information about Abrahamson, pointing to her history of political activism related to education policy.
According to the account, Abrahamson has previously criticized her own school district and urged public pressure campaigns against Becker school officials.
In a July 2022 Facebook post cited by Libs of TikTok, Abrahamson promoted what she described as a “Becker social media kit,” encouraging supporters to post coordinated messages on Twitter and Facebook, tag district accounts, and use specific hashtags to influence school leaders.
In those posts, she accused district leadership of “silencing educators” and claimed teachers’ First Amendment rights were being violated.

Libs of TikTok also highlighted Abrahamson’s doctoral dissertation at the University of Minnesota, titled “The Lived Experiences of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Individuals in a Rural Midwestern School.”
The account argued the topic reflected her broader ideological views, which critics say are being brought into the classroom.
