As the 2024 election nears, Republican Senate candidate Dave McCormick of Pennsylvania claims that Democrats in critical battleground states are scrambling to align with former President Donald Trump’s policies in hopes of gaining traction with undecided voters.
McCormick, who is running against incumbent Senator Bob Casey (D-PA), discussed these dynamics during a Saturday interview with Breitbart News, suggesting that Democrats’ last-minute shifts reveal deep-seated concerns about their positions and polling numbers.
McCormick explained his approach as he campaigns alongside Trump, contrasting his outsider background and Pennsylvania roots with Casey’s decades-long political career. “The reason you’re seeing all the momentum shift in my direction is people now see this election for what it is. It’s an election between change and the status quo,” McCormick said.

He emphasized his alignment with Trump, pointing to Casey’s consistent support for the Biden-Harris administration’s policies. “When the bullets start flying, [Casey] ducks. And he’s voted 98 percent of the time for this radical, liberal agenda of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden,” McCormick added, describing himself as a “political outsider who’s going to shake things up.”
Leftist scumbag Bob Casey — who supported BOTH impeachment hoaxes and votes with Kamala 100% of the time — is now desperately trying to embrace President Trump.

The former U.S. Army veteran and West Point graduate is positioning himself as a strong alternative to Casey, especially as early voting shows high participation across Pennsylvania.
Meanwhile, recent ads by Democrats in states like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Arizona have claimed alignment with certain Trump policies on issues like trade.
Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) and Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) have released ads touting their support for Trump’s trade policies, despite both having previously voted to convict Trump during his impeachment trials.

For instance, one of Casey’s ads showcases his support for the repeal of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), featuring footage of Trump signing the new legislation into law.
In an interview with Trump last weekend, Breitbart’s Matthew Boyle brought up this recent wave of Democratic outreach tied to Trump’s policies.
Trump commented that he was “honored” by the apparent shift but noted these candidates remain “radical Democrats.”
McCormick attributes Democrats’ shift to what he calls a misalignment between their national platform and Pennsylvania voters. “I think two things are happening,” McCormick said. “Pennsylvania may be the one place where it would’ve been better for the Democrats to have Biden than Harris.”
He highlighted what he views as Harris’s liberal stance on key issues, referencing policies such as banning fracking, transitioning energy workers, defunding the police, gun buybacks, and extending federal benefits to undocumented immigrants. “These radical positions are just completely out of step with Pennsylvania,” McCormick argued.
“The more Pennsylvanians see of who she really is, the more they’re saying, ‘I don’t want anything to do with that,’ and that’s why I think President Trump is gaining momentum in the polls in Pennsylvania.”
McCormick also stated that Casey’s campaign is struggling in response to polling numbers. “Casey’s internal polling, and the public polling, shows that he’s in trouble,” he said.
“He’s flailing around and he’s panicking.” He noted that Casey’s team has run several attack ads against him, including one ad alleging McCormick intends to cut Social Security.
“The very next day, the Washington Post, which is no conservative newspaper, ran an article saying this was a completely fabricated ad and gave Bob Casey four Pinocchios,” McCormick added.

As the race tightens, McCormick expressed confidence that his campaign has gained traction.
With early voting numbers already exceeding 50% of 2020’s turnout in Pennsylvania, McCormick believes the enthusiasm among Republicans and Independents will continue to build.
The Pennsylvania Senate race remains one of the most closely watched contests of the election season, with both sides intensifying their efforts in the final weeks leading up to November.
